Bobbi Kristina's conservators filed the lawsuit last month, accusing Gordon of physically assaulting and robbing the 22-year-old of thousands of dollars, People reported.

Gordon also allegedly pretended to be Bobbi Kristina's husband in order to control her interactions with people and finances, according to the court documents.

The papers claim Gordon "often answered Brown's personal cell phone, would not allow her to make appointments without his approval, and manipulated her bank relationship so that he could access her money," and he allegedly transferred a "large portion" of Bobbi Kristina's funds into his own bank account, People reported.

Bobbi Kristina, who is currently in hospice care, was found face down and unresponsive in her home's bathtub on January 31.

According to the lawsuit, Bobbi Kristina was supposed to meet an unidentified confidant on January 31 but never arrived. Instead, she reportedly "became embroiled in a loud argument" with Gordon in their shared house that ended with Bobbi Kristina being discovered in the tub "with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out."

Bobbi Kristina had allegedly told the confidant Gordon "was not the man she thought he was" prior to the incident that rocked her family's world. Bobbi Kristina is the daughter of singer Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.

Gordon has since gathered a high-profile legal team, including attorney Jose Baez.

The papers additionally say Bobbi Kristina has "global and irreversible brain damage." Her aunt Pat Houston released a statement in late June to sadly announce Bobbi Kristina is "in God's hands now" as her condition continues to "deteriorate."
