Bethenny Frankel says the claws really come out during The Real Housewives of New York City's upcoming second season.

"Catfighting is at a massive, massive roar. It's really a terror on the high seas," Frankel told E! News in a Thursday interview.  "I get a little Sicilian on some of them."

The Real Housewives of New York City's first season premiered last March and followed Frankel, Alex McCord, Jill Zarin, LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer as they balanced their busy home and work schedules with the demands of the New York and the Hamptons social scenes.

The show's second season, which debuts February 17, will follow a similar format -- however Frankel said that in addition to adding a sixth housewife, the show's bickering has been turned up a notch.  While she scored the argument level for the first season at a two, she said the second season "was a nine."

"I never exaggerate," she told E! News. "Ramona and LuAnn get into it hard-core. I get into it hard-core with Jill, which you wouldn't expect because we're really close."

The Real Housewives of New York City's second season apparently isn't all fighting though, according to Frankel.

"I get a little dating and love interest on the show," she told E! News. "The one on the show doesn't stick, but I am dating someone now."

While Frankel did not reveal the identity of her current beau, she hinted that he could be featured on the show's third season.

"It's funny, we were at the [second-season] premiere last night and the producers were like, 'You have to sign a waiver now,'" she told E! News.

Frankel -- who finished as The Apprentice: Martha Stewart runner-up in December 2005-- also has a new book titled "Naturally Thin: Unleash Your SkinnyGirl and Free Yourself From a Lifetime of Dieting" that is scheduled to hit shelves March 10.
