By Christopher Rocchio, 02/16/2009

Jessica Langseth reportedly had a brief stint behind bars to help toughen her up for her American Idol journey.

The 26-year-old mother from Minneapolis, MN was arrested and charged with a DUI a few years ago, TMZ.com reported Saturday.

Langseth subsequently pled guilty and spent four days in jail before she was released and given two years probation, according to TMZ.com, which added her probation was shortened and came to an end last December.

Langseth was revealed as a Top 36 semifinalist during last Wednesday night's "Final Judgment" episode, and she is the second eighth-season hopeful known to have had previous problems with the law due to driving while intoxicated.

Emily Wynne-Hughes -- who received a ticket to Hollywood Week after wowing Idol's judges with her rendition of Heart's "Barracuda -- was reportedly ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet as part of a plea agreement for a July 2008 drunk driving arrest in West Hollywood.

Wynne-Hughes also received three years probation as part a deal in which she agreed to plea to a lesser reckless driving charge.

Despite surviving Hollywood Week's first round, Wynne-Hughes was subsequently cut following the second elimination round.
