BET to premiere the second season of 'Sunday Best' on March 8

BET has announced Sunday Best's second season will premiere Sunday, March 8 at 9PM ET/PT.

Similar to the reality competition's Fall 2007 first season, Sunday Best's second installment will aim to find the country's next great gospel singer by scouring the country for undiscovered talent regularly relegated to church performances.

Grammy Award-winning gospel, hip-hop and R&B artist Kirk Franklin will reprise his Sunday Best hosting role for the show's second season.  Fellow Grammy Award-winning gospel artist Bebe Winans and gospel duo Mary Mary will also return to judge the contestants and serve as mentors to help them perfect their vocal abilities.

Sunday Best is executive produced by D'Angela Proctor Steed, Nia T. Hill and Brian Gadinsky.

In addition to Sunday Best's second-season debut, BET also announced the premieres of College Hill: South Beach, Baldwin Hills' third season, Harlem Heights and Played by Fame.

College Hill: South Beach, the sixth season of BET's College Hill reality series, will premiere Tuesday, March 24 at 10PM ET/PT; Baldwin Hills' third season will debut Tuesday, January 27 at 10PM ET/PT; Harlem Heights will premiere Monday, March 2 at 10PM ET/PT; and Played by Fame will debut Friday, January 30 at 10PM ET/PT.
