Sunday Best is scheduled to premiere Tuesday, October 2 at 8PM ET/PT on BET.

Each one-hour episode of Sunday Best will scour the country for gospel singers who regularly perform at churches both big and small.  With an opportunity to showcase their vocal talents for a national television audience, the top contestants chosen via the search will be coached by established singers to perfect their talent.

At the end of Sunday Best's broadcast run, only one aspiring gospel singer will receive the "Sunday Best" title as well as prizes for themselves; their churches; and their communities.

In addition to Sunday Best, BET announced the second season of Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is -- a docu-reality series that follows the rise of R&B singer Keyshia Cole -- will premiere this October; College Hill Interns, a spin-off of its successful College Hill docu-reality series, will also debut in October; and Living the Life of Marley, a new docu-reality series that will follow the life of Bob Marley's son Ky-Mani Marley as he prepares to release his new album, will premiere this fall.
