The race car driver ended up sending Burnham home during the final rose ceremony and choosing Kufrin who was a big hit with his family.

Luyendyk Jr. then got down on one knee and asked for Kufrin's hand in marriage, which she accepted.

"You are beautiful and elegant and in that first conversation, I knew you were an incredible woman and I needed to know more... We're a team, and I'm very lucky that you've been on this journey with me, and through all of it, you've given me so much confidence. My love for you is unmeasurable," he said.

"I choose you today, and I choose you today from here on out."

The couple are seen enjoying their time together following the proposal, however, Luyendyk Jr. then decided that he wanted to break off the engagement and reconnect with Burnham.

The decision led to an argument and Luyendyk Jr. confirming on After the Final Rose that he and Kufrin are over and that he had rekindled his romance with Burnham.

"You. Do. Not. Play. With. Someone's. Heart. Like. That. SPEAK ARIE! SAY SOMETHING MEANINGFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" former "The Bachelor" winner Vanessa Grimaldi said on Twitter about the finale.
