Trump and Gov. George Pataki Wednesday announced Trump was donating 436 acres north of New York City, which will become Donald J. Trump State Park, E! Online reported.
"With the establishment of Donald J. Trump State Park, we will increase public access to scenic landscapes and recreational opportunities for families and visitors to the region," Pataki said.
Trump said the park is his way of "giving back" to New Yorkers.
"I hope that these 436 acres of property will turn into one of the most beautiful parks anywhere in the world," he said.
