'American Idol's Simon Cowell voted U.K.'s most unexpected desirable

Simon Cowell is apparently a guilty pleasure for a large majority of British women.

The American Idol judge was ranked as the No. 1 man that women "shouldn't but would" like to have sex with in a recent poll, the U.K.'s Metro newspaper reported Wednesday.
The poll, which was conducted by the U.K. website Groupola.com, had Cowell receiving votes from 64% of the 1,264 women that were surveyed about men who are "the most desirable -- when they shouldn't be."
He bested actor James Corden (61%) and Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson (57%), as well as Hell's Kitchen star Gordon Ramsay (52%) and U.S. President Barack Obama (47%).
"I think the general consensus is that men like Barack Obama and Simon Cowell are attractive to women because they are so powerful," Groupola.com managing director Mark Pearson told Metro.
