Kara DioGuardi is following in Ryan Seacrest's footsteps by helming her own radio show.

"Radio has been a very important part of my career," said DioGuardi.
"I am absolutely thrilled to be on air giving my take on some of the great music out there through my new relationship with 104.3 MYfm."
"Kara is already synonymous with music, behind the scenes writing so many hits, personally performing her own material on stage and of course having one of the nation's most visible opinions on the next breakthrough acts from American Idol, putting her on the air was a logical extension of sharing her natural personality," said KBIG-FM programming director Andrew Jeffries.
Seacrest currently hosts morning shows on MYfm's KIIS-FM sister station.
DioGuardi is reportedly slated to hit the airwaves sometimes next month.
