'American Idol 4' runner-up Bo Bice signs with 19 Recordings/RCA

Birmingham, Ala.-native Bo Bice, runner-up of the fourth season of Fox's "American Idol," has been signed to 19 Recordings/RCA Records.

His first single, "Inside Your Heaven," written by Andreas Carlsson, Pelle Nylen and Savan Kotecha, will be released Tuesday. Bice performed the song on the finale of "American Idol," watched by more than 30 million viewers.
The B-side of Bice's single is a remake of "Vehicle," the Ides of March No. 2 hit from 1970. Bice performed "Vehicle" twice on "American Idol."
His recorded version features Richie Sambora, lead guitarist for Bon Jovi. Both sides of Bice's premier single were produced by Desmond Child.
Bice will appear on NBC's "The Today Show" Monday and NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" July 6.
The 29-year-old singer will be part of the American Idols Live Tour, which begins July 12 in Sunrise, Fla., and ends Sept. 10 in Syracuse, N.Y.
