'American Idol 4' runner-up Bo Bice confirms marriage to girlfriend Caroline Fisher

Verifying rumors that began surfacing earlier this week, American Idol 4 runner-up Bo Bice confirmed yesterday that he and Caroline Fisher, his girlfriend of nearly two years, were married in a June 15 wedding ceremony in Helena, Alabama.

Bice, 29, and Fisher, 24, met when he was a guitar store clerk who worked near the Hoover, Alabama Ragtime Cafe restaurant in which Fisher waitressed.
Roger Widynowski, Bice's RCA Records publicist, confirmed the marriage to media outlets on Thursday. "It was a small, intimate wedding," Widynowski told People.
The couple's marriage certificate was granted Thursday in Shelby County, Alabama. Bice and Fisher exchanged vows at Helena's New Hope Presbyterian Church, with only immediate family attending.
Back in May, Star magazine reported -- complete with a quote from Madge Schofield, Bo's grandmother -- that Fisher was pregnant with the couple's first child. However according to E! Online, Fisher's mother, Wanda Sue Fisher, is denying the report.
