90 Day Fiance's currently-airing season has shown Season 7 couple Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi considering a wedding in Nigeria as a last resort so Michael will have a better shot to move to America, so what happened next? Did 90 Day Fiance couple get married, and are they still together?

[90 Day Fiance Spoilers Warning: This article contains spoilers revealing if Angela and Michael are still together and whether the 90 Day Fiance couple ever got married, either in Nigeria or in America.]

Prior to 90 Day Fiance's seventh season, Angela, a 54-year-old from Hazlehurst, GA, and Michael, a 30-year-old from Lagos, Nigeria, starred on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days followed by Season 3 of the TLC spinoff.

The divorced grandmother of six kids fell hard and fast for Michael from Nigeria after they met on Facebook.

Angela and Michael, whose formal name is Kehinde Ilesanmi, talked on the phone for several months until Angela decided to travel to Nigeria in order to meet Michael in person for the first time -- despite having received warnings from friends and family that he might be scamming her.

Angela did discover some red flags with Michael in Nigeria, but she wanted to give her relationship a chance and needed more time to get to know Michael and his intentions better.

As their romance went on, Angela developed trust issues and claimed Michael constantly lied to her about his social-media activity, partying and other alleged women in his life.

Angela and Michael therefore seemed to fight more than they were happy together, but they always reconciled and resumed their relationship in the face of adversity.

Another point of contention was that Michael's friends didn't like Angela, whom they deemed controlling and trashy.

The main problem for Angela and Michael, however, is that Michael wants to have a baby so his family name will continue on. Given Angela's age, there isn't much hope she can carry a baby herself.

"I would be lying if I tell her I can be happy without a child," Michael confessed to cameras during the third season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days finished airing on TLC in October 2019.

On the Tell-All special, Angela revealed she and Michael were still together and in the midst of the K-1 visa application process that would allow Angela to bring Michael to America and give the couple 90 days to get married.

Michael was preparing for his K-1 visa interview at the time and Angela was saving up money for Michael's arrival into the United States.

During the Tell-All -- which was filmed in Summer of last year -- Angela told the cameras Michael would probably be moving to America by the end of 2019, but obviously that didn't happen.

Michael and Angela first appeared on 90 Day Fiance's seventh season on the December 8, 2019 broadcast, which was the season's sixth episode.

"I finally found The One. I just knew it from our first kiss," Angela told the cameras. "What a party we're going to have!" Angela gushed.

Angela said she had a lot of responsibility because she was taking care of her mother, daughter Skyla and grandkids. Angela admitted Michael was going to have to be "Mr. Mom" since he wouldn't be able to work for a while in America.

Angela noted if Michael thought he was just going to sit around and relax at her home, he had another thing coming.

Skyla did not have faith Michael was going to become "Mr. Mom" and suddenly take care of a household full of kids. Skyla said Michael was just trying to "scam" Angela and her mom was "delusional."

"He's going to be my husband, and if no one can deal with that, I can't help ya," Angela told Skyla and her mother, before telling the cameras, "It's my house, my rules, and I'll have 90 days to figure this out."

Angela was nervous about Michael's interview because he had to prove their romance was authentic and sincere by answering a series of questions, but Michael was very confident and assured his fiancee, "I've got this."

Michael also claimed he was prepared with the correct documents.

"If you screw up... we'll be done," Angela told him, before telling the cameras, "If Michael fails this interview, I told him, 'We're probably done'... I don't have the strength. I'm not getting any younger. It's either the K-1 or K-done."

Michael looked forward to being with his fiancee in the United Stated and starting a new life together, but he acknowledged there would be a big adjustment to make upon his arrival into America.

For instance, he knew it would take a while before he could financially support himself and his future wife.

Angela and Skyla were later shown going wedding-dress shopping together, and Angela picked an off-the-shoulder gown with an embellished bodice and loose, flowing skirt.

"I'm truly in love with Michael," she told the cameras, "and I know he loves me. I want to look my best for Michael, and I feel elegant."

Later on, Angela was shown waiting on a phone call from Michael so he could tell her about his interview for a K-1 visa. She hoped he'd be "coming home to his baby," and this was a call she had been "waiting on for years."

Michael then FaceTimed Angela and she was admittedly "scared to death." Once the pair connected on the phone, Michael revealed some horrible news to Angela.

Michael flashed some papers on the screen and read, "After reviewing all of your documents and information presented, you have been found ineligible to receive a visa... The office has decided  to return your case to the USCIS with our recommendation that the petition be revoked."

"Are you kidding me?! You got denied?! Why?" Angela yelled. "What the hell, Michael?!"

Angela said she was "in shock" and couldn't believe the news. She felt someone had hit her and knocked the breath right out of her. Michael broke down and cried over the phone, and it was the first time Angela had seen him cry.

Angela called the situation "painful," and Michael couldn't believe the time, money and energy they had spent only to end up like this.

Angela felt cheated as a tax payer because she thought Michael had met all the criteria and she had already traveled to Nigeria twice to see him.

"What do you want? A porno?! There's nothing more to give," Angela vented in a confessional. "It's not right. I'll do what it takes to get Michael over here so we can be a family."

Angela told Michael to cheer up because they'd figure things out together and she loved him, and with that being said, Michael expressed his love right back and gathered his composure.

"I love her so much, and she loves me. It's not about the visa. It's about my love, my genuine love for her," Michael told his friends after learning the bad news. "I just want to be with her."

Angela later admitted she was losing her mind and had been "a hot mess" ever since learning Michael's K-1 visa had been denied. She was prepared to "fight like hell" to get her man over to the United States.

Angela then met with her lawyer and learned Michael had yet to receive an official denial. Instead, it was just recommended that Michael's visa be denied.

Angela discovered she had some options, such as appealing the decision and filing with some additional information, such as more evidence of her relationship with Michael.

For instance, Angela could divulge how much time she spent talking to Michael on the phone and through video chat, which included staying up late into the night.

The lawyer revealed 60 percent of appealed cases end up being granted visas but the process would take another six months.

Angela and Michael also had the opportunity to reapply for the K-1 visa again, which was a daunting task in Angela's mind and made her furious.

"I am 54 this year. I work hard, and if I want to get married in the United States of America, I have the right to do that," Angela argued.

"It's my tax-paying right! It's our choice whether they're scamming us, using us or not to bring them over here if we can afford them. It's that simple. Quit protecting people who don't need to be protected. I protect myself."

If Angela went over to Nigeria and married Michael over there, she'd be looking at another year for a spousal visa to be granted. Angela's lawyer also warned her a divorce would be very complicated if she chooses to wed in Nigeria.

Angela really wanted her sick mother to witness her wedding, and she said she couldn't afford to fly her family members over to Nigeria. It seemed like the best choice was to file an appeal and hopefully win it.

If Angela lost the appeal, the lawyer said she could file for the K-1 visa again and face about 18 more months away from Michael. And if Angela got married in Nigeria, she'd be looking at 18 months or maybe even two more years away from her fiance.

Angela felt robbed of her time with Michael, and she decided to fly to Nigeria for two weeks to get to the bottom of things. She was on a quest for answers.

But before Angela arrived in Nigeria, Michael met with an immigration lawyer to get another opinion on how they should proceed.

Michael was actually advised against doing an appeal because chances of his visa being accepted were allegedly slim.

"They hold the decision of the consulate officer in very high regard," the lawyer explained.

"It will be very difficult for them to overturn that decision. So I would advise you to get married here and then apply for the K-3... spousal visa."

Michael was told his best chance of moving to the United States would be getting married in Nigeria first -- but he was worried about breaking such news to Angela.

Once Michael and Angela reunited in Nigeria, he recalled some key points he remembered from his interview, and Angela realized he had neglected to tell them that they had an official engagement ceremony in Nigeria

After bickering, Michael mentioned to Angela that they should probably just tie the knot in Nigeria.

"I'm not getting married over here," Angela said, explaining that one denial wasn't going to change that for her.

"That's not going to happen, so -- next question!" Angela told the cameras.

But Michael wanted to get married and start a family together, so the more Michael begged, the less Angela pushed back.

But Angela wanted to get to the bottom of Michael's denial, so she booked an appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria to find out what went wrong or what Michael was missing.

Later on, Michael's family pushed Angela to marry Michael in Nigeria for a spousal visa while they ate a nice dinner together, but Angela didn't think it was anyone else's business.

Angela explained she wanted to try for the K-1 visa again instead so her own family could attend her wedding.

Michael's brother Yekini then told the couple they must "move on" if the visa gets denied again.

"[He should] move on in the sense he should just start his own family with somebody here," the man said.

"Is that what you want?" Angela asked Michael. "If it is, then conversation over."

Angela told the cameras, "Oh hell no, you didn't say that. Now you've pissed me off. Your ass is grass."

Michael explained he was tired of being alone in Nigeria, but Angela insisted she continued to sacrifice for Michael as well.

"If we love each other, nothing should separate us, especially being alone," Angela told her fiance.

However, 90 Day Fiance's most recent Season 7 episode showed Angela reassessing the possibility after Michael's family pressed Angela to just marry Michael in Nigeria.

Michael assured Angela he wasn't leaving her for anything, and Angela came to realize Michael's relatives were very supportive of their union.

"I came on this trip thinking, 'I am not getting married here in Nigeria,' but I'm going to give it a chance and be open-minded and discuss the spousal visa," Angela said in a confessional.

So did Angela decide to marry Michael in Nigeria? Is the 90 Day Fiance couple still together?

Yes, Angela and Michael are more than still a couple -- they are a married couple!

Angela and Michael got married in Nigeria on January 27, according to wedding photos that have leaked online.

The couple apparently found this to be the answer to their problem of Michael having been denied a K-1 fiance visa. Because now that they're married, they can apply for a K-3 spousal visa so Michael can move to the United States.

"Guess who's finally off the market! Whoop whoop," the @communiqueglobal Instagram account captioned a pair of photos showing the 90 Day Fiance couple exchanging vows and then posing for a wedding photo.

"As the invitation said, January 27 in Nigeria!," added @fraudedbytlc, a 90 Day Fiance Instagram fan account which reposted the photos.

Angela and Michael's wedding was filmed for TV

A pair of crew members are visible holding boom microphones over Angela and Michael as they exchanged vows, suggesting the ceremony was filmed for future broadcast on 90 Day Fiance or one of its spinoffs.

In addition, a large banner for the Federal Marriage Registry of Nigeria's Ministry of Interior can be seen in the background of the photo, which shows Angela and Michael standing and facing each other while an apparent government official sitting in front of the banner presides over the ceremony.

Two additional people -- a blonde woman wearing Western-style clothing and a man dressed in traditional Nigerian garb -- are also visible sitting alongside Angela and Michael respectively.

Angela wore a flowing white wedding dress for the ceremony, while Michael wore a purple suit.

News of Angela and Michael's wedding had leaked in advance

Claims that Angela and Michael had decided to attempt to resolve Michael's K-1 visa problems by getting married in Nigeria on January 27 had surfaced online the week prior after Angela was spotted at a Nigerian airport with a camera crew.

On January 19, a 90 Day Fiance viewer posted the photo of Angela standing by the baggage claim to a Facebook group for 90 Day Fiance.

"A pastor in my fb uploaded this picture yesterday when he arrived from Canada to Nigeria. Look who is in the back lol," the Facebook poster wrote alongside the photo, which appears to have unintentionally captured Angela and three crew members filming in the background behind the pastor.

The photo unintentionally captured Angela and three crew members filming behind the pastor and showed Angela talking to the camera as two crew members filmed the 90 Day Fiance star with a camera and a microphone pole as a producer stood beside the cameraman.

The Southern blonde looked as passionate as ever in the photo, pointing toward the camera with her arm raised into the air.

However, whether there was a specific purpose for Angela's new trip to Nigeria remained unclear until a couple of days later when the @hundred_percent_true_shit Instagram account claimed Angela had returned to Nigeria to wed and posted a photo of an alleged copy of the couple's wedding invitation.

"Well, it looks like a wedding will happen after all," the Instagram account captioned the photo. "Nobody not even the US Government tells Angie Baby she can't have her Michael."

While the account redacted the wedding's location from the alleged invitation, the wedding's date was not censored and stated the ceremony would occur January 27.

Shortly afterward, @fraudedbytlc posted that it had also confirmed the wedding news.

"@hundred_percent_true_shit has the breaking news. I have received confirmation that Angela is in Nigeria to get married there!," the account wrote.

"No clue on the legitimacy of this being their actual invitation BUT my sources say the wedding in Nigeria is going to happen and will be filmed. More news coming as we get it."

When Angela and Michael's wedding will air remains unclear

Given only a couple of episodes remain in the currently-airing seventh season of 90 Day Fiance that Angela and Michael have been appearing on, it remains unclear when the wedding footage will air and could indicate the couple will be returning for another season of 90 Day Fiance or one of its spinoffs like 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days or 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.

The fourth season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days -- which Angela and Michael have also previously appeared on -- is set to premiere on February 23 on TLC after Season 7 of 90 Day Fiance wraps.

Last month, TLC announced 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' upcoming season will feature seven couples, including returning cast members Darcey Silva and Tom Brooks.

Angela and Michael were not part of that Before the 90 Days Season 4 cast announcement, however it's possible TLC may be waiting to announce their participation at a later date -- which would be a repeated course of action for the network.

When TLC announced the cast of 90 Day Fiance's seventh season in October, the network didn't reveal Angela and Michael would be cast members until after Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days -- which the couple had been appearing on -- aired its finale a couple of weeks later.

Angela and Michael, however, were not featured on 90 Day Fiance's seventh season until December, over a month into the season's broadcast run.

Michael had confirmed his K-1 visa status in December

Michael confirmed in his Instagram Stories in late December he was still living in Nigeria while answering fans' questions in a live video session.

"You all know now about the status of my visa... God knows the best... It's okay. I'm over it. I'm over it. But it's painful now," Michael said in the four-minute video.

When a fan asked Michael where Angela was, he replied, "I'm still in Nigeria. My visa was denied."

"You guys should keep watching [90 Day Fiance]," Michael added.

"Thank you all for the support. I appreciate [the comments] and I know Angela does too. Thank you very much. You all don't know what goes on behind the camera. What you guys see is what you believe."

But shortly afterward, Michael revealed he and Angela are still a team.

In late December 2019, the couple posted a series of bathroom selfies together in which they were smiling and hugging.

And then Michael captioned a photo on January 1, "As the new year renews all the happiness and good tidings, hope the joyful spirit keeps glowing in your heart forever! Happy New Year! 2020 From NG #90dayfiance #tlc #Teamangelamichael."

For Angela's part, she posted a photo of herself eating a steak late last year and wrote alongside it, "Michael know his woman love some filet mignon muah ty baby."

She also posted a photo of the pair driving in a car and captioned it, "Love recognizes no barriers."
