Bachelor in Paradise alum Wells Adams has criticized Zach Shallcross for kissing and telling on-camera when The Bachelor star could've just kept the details of his overnight fantasy suite dates private.

On The Bachelor's latest Season 27 episode that aired Monday night on ABC, Zach set a no-sex rule for himself going into his round of overnight fantasy suite dates, acknowledging that it was going to be "really damn hard" to pull off, so that he could hopefully avoid a "messy" outcome.

Zach explained that he wanted to be fair to all the women and make sex special by only having it within his engagement at the end of the season.

"Okay, we're watching this Bachelor episode and Zach is going around telling everybody that, you know, he's not going to have sex during 'Sex Week,'" Wells, 38, said in his Instagram Stories as the March 20 episode was airing.

"And I figured out why it's weird. It's weird because it's something that he doesn't need to do on camera."

The Bachelor in Paradise bartender continued, "There's the moment when they close the door and the cameras go away and he can be like, 'Hey, listen, I just don't want to have sex with anybody because I don't want to make things awkward.' No, it's awkward because you're telling everybody on camera! Okay?!"

Zach stayed true to his word during his first overnight date with Ariel Frenkel in Krabi, Thailand, but then passion got the best of Zach in his Fantasy Suite with Gabi Elnicki, who made it known that she'd like to test drive a car before buying it.

Zach then informed The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer that he had slept with Gabi, and he also felt compelled -- in the spirit of being honest and transparent -- to admit to Kaity Biggar, his third Fantasy Suite date of the week, how he had been intimate with someone else.

In another Instagram Stories post, Wells shared audio of his wife, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, asking, "He tells you that he doesn't want to have sex with you... how do you think she's going to react to that?"

Wells also expressed how he was shocked by Zach's deeply-personal chat with Jesse.

"Now he's telling Jesse they had sex. Bro, kiss and tell much? You don't have to tell anybody!" Wells joked via Instagram Stories.

Wells was cracking up with laughter and added, "What's going on here?"

Wells proceeded to tweet, "The advice I would have given Zach at the bar: Do Not Kiss And Tell. Especially when millions of people are watching. #TheBachelor," according to Us Weekly.

But Bachelor in Paradise alum Blake Horstmann reportedly countered, "Come on now... you didn't have this energy in Paradise lol."

When Zach informed Jesse of his decision to have sex with Gabi, he shared that they had "an unreal night" together.

"We both agree and wanted to have sex together, and it was very special. It was important and it was what we both wanted and needed for the relationship," Zach explained.

"And I feel terrible because obviously I've gone against my word. I have fears... and I feel a guilt about the whole week -- not because it was with Gabi but because I said one thing and did another."

Jesse reminded Zach that he was well-intentioned, and Zach said things simply evolved in the Fantasy Suite with Gabi and he had "zero regret" about what they experienced.

"This was an act of love, not lust," Zach insisted.

Zach then sat down with Gabi and told her that he was "falling in love" with her. However, he also warned her that he didn't want to keep their intimate encounter a secret.

"It's great to hear he's falling in love with me, but in a way, it feels like he's cleared his conscience at the expense of my heart," Gabi admitted in a confessional. "I can't deny the fact that I'm feeling blindsided by it and my trust was broken... I don't know if I want this rose right now."

Zach then broke the news to Kaity during the day portion of their date that he had slept with Gabi in the previous Fantasy Suite. Kaity admitted she was "crushed" and couldn't pretend to be happy around The Bachelor star. She very felt "distant" from him.

"It sucks to think about it," Kaity told Zach, choking back her tears. "I figured that was the case, but you telling me and confirming it... honestly, I could've went without hearing that."

Zach got emotional and feared he had ruined his relationship with Kaity, but she eventually came around and determined that she was truly falling in love with Zach and wasn't prepared to throw their relationship away.

Kaity just wanted Zach to keep his relationships with the other women separate from them.

The episode concluded with Zach denying Ariel a rose and advancing Gabi and Kaity to the next stage of The Bachelor process: meeting his family.
