Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams has teased an unexpected turn of events that will probably upset and frustrate Bachelor Nation.

Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season is set to premiere with a two-hour episode on Thursday, September 28 at 9PM ET/PT, immediately following the debut of The Golden Bachelor on ABC.

And according to Wells, there will be many twists and surprises that viewers won't see coming.

"I don't want to spoil things for everybody. I imagine there will be things that people were not expecting to happen this year and they will probably be very angry about it," Wells told Entertainment Tonight.

"But I'll be fine because I'll be making drinks in the back and just watching the dumpster fire burn in front of me."

For instance, Bachelor in Paradise's Season 9 trailer shows bachelors and bachelorettes discovering "the Paradise Truth Box," which one contestant said is "definitely going to destroy some couples."

There will also be tears, drama, and explosive waves crashing onto the beach.

Wells predicted the cast -- part of which was announced in late August and includes Aaron Bryant, Blake Moynes, Brayden Bowers, Brooklyn Willie, Kat Izzo and Rachel Recchia -- will make for a "pretty dramatic" season.

But besides the chaos, Wells anticipated from the get-go that sincere love stories would develop on the beach in Mexico.

"The best relationships that have come out of this franchise have been ones that I did not expect," Wells shared.

"I'm a big proponent of, 'I know you think you know what your type is, but if that was correct, you probably wouldn't be in a situation where you needed to go on this singles retreat that's on camera, so maybe like think outside the box and just keep an open mind.'"

Wells pointed out how "really pretty people generally find other very pretty people and then they make beautiful babies together." But he apparently wanted to se "the weirdos" partner up.

"I always liked the weirdos, because that's what I am," Wells said. "I like when the weirdos find the other weirdos and then they make other weirdos... I like when the oddballs find the other oddballs."

Wells, a The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise alum who is happily married to actress Sarah Hyland, noted how it was "really, really fun" to be a part of the show this year.

"They're stuck in this one place and they have to interact with one another, and it tends to find the most amazing, beautiful, long-lasting relationships out of any of the other shows. I like being a part of it," Wells explained.

Wells also considers himself pretty knowledgeable in the love department, which allowed him to give bachelors and bachelorettes guidance during filming.

"I have been with Sarah for the majority of these seasons [of] this show, and so I can, I think, talk about love and what it's supposed to look like and what it's supposed to feel like to people who are searching for that," Wells reasoned.

"I think it gives me a little bit of credence to tell them what I think that they should be looking for and then things that they should see as red flags."

The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer is also in a successful relationship with his wife, Emely Fardo, who is currently pregnant.

"Both Jesse and I are people who are happily in, like, long-lasting, meaningful relationships and I think everyone that comes to this beach is looking for that," Wells said.

"To be able to give advice to get to that point, I think is important and imperative."

During the sneak peek video of Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise, Jesse said in a voiceover, "Get ready for a wild time on the beach -- sexy dates and four former Bachelorettes crashing the party. Plus, someone has a serious medical emergency."

Jesse added, "Who will find their soul mate? Who will leave in tears? And who will decide to get MARRIED in Paradise?!"

According to ABC, four former The Bachelorette stars will grace Paradise with their presence: Charity Lawson, Hannah Brown, Katie Thurston, and Rachel. Rachel, however, will be the only woman of the four dating on the show.

In July, spoilers surfaced revealing some of what happened and which couples left together when Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season was filmed in Mexico in June.
