truTV has announced The Principal's Office, a new reality series that will chronicle school administrators as they deal with students who violate the rules, will premiere with back-to-back half-hour episodes on Thursday, August 21 at 9PM ET/PT.

Each The Principal's Office episode will introduce viewers to various principals and the personal way he or she governs the school they run. 

In addition, it will also follow several disciplinary issues at the school as they unfold to give viewers a sense of how each principal handles discipline on a daily basis, and the fallout that normally ensues.

The Principal's Office's premiere episode will follow Danbury, CT high school assistant principal Jessie Ballenger as she deals with a student who sneaks off campus to avoid eating school lunch; New Milford, NJ high school principal Eric Sheninger handling a class clown with a with a knack for distracting classmates; and Booneville, AR high school principal Steve Halter making a tardy student decide between Saturday detention or corporal punishment in the form of three paddle whacks.

Additional The Principal's Office episodes will see Ballenger make a student caught smoking be punished with a wellness class in lieu of detention; Sheninger dealing with a star athlete caught mooning vehicles during a bus ride; and Halter deciding how to deal with a girl who claims to be too-sick for in-house detention.

truTV ordered The Principal's Office in March.  The show is being produced by Leftfield Pictures, with Brent Montgomery, Chris Bray and Colby Gaines serving as executive producers.
