Thomas Jacobs has been accused of going on Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette to hopefully become the next The Bachelor star.

Now that Cody Menk and Aaron Clancy's beef has been squashed due to Katie eliminating Cody, it appears Thomas, a 28-year-old real estate broker from Poway, CA, is going to step into the villain role soon on Season 17.

ABC released a promo of The Bachelorette's upcoming June 21 episode on Instagram that shows Thomas at the center of drama.

After Thomas insists he's on the show "to find a wife," Aaron calls the bachelor out and says, "This morning you were here for a platform."

Brendan Scanzano proceeds to call Thomas "a pathological liar," and then Hunter Montgomery flat out asks Thomas, "Have you ever thought, 'Maybe, I could end up being the Bachelor?'"

Thomas replies, "That was a thought that was on my mind."

In another clip, Thomas admits, "I'm willing to do anything it takes, including throwing out the 'love' word."

Footage finally flashes to Katie kissing the handsome bachelor and smiling at him.

"I'm just happy you're here," she gushes to Thomas during a private moment between just the two of them.

Katie will probably be devastated upon hearing the speculation Thomas had applied for the show to advance his career, find fame or become ABC's 2022 Bachelor.

In Katie's first week of the dating process alone, she already had to confront Cody, who was accused of going on the show for the wrong reasons, and ultimately chose to send him home.

Karl Smith also warned the Bachelorette other unidentified men in the cast didn't have the best intentions, which resulted in Katie feeling confused and having an emotional breakdown before her second Rose Ceremony of the season.

During a recent joint interview with Us Weekly, The Bachelorette co-hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe praised Katie for being straightforward with the men, going right to the source of conflict, and facing issues head-on.

So far in the season, it appears Thomas was one of Katie's The Bachelorette frontrunners.

Katie admitted to Thomas on her first group date that she thought about him often and didn't know why.

She said she felt a connection with Thomas that she couldn't explain, and Thomas agreed their time together was "spectacular" and he could feel "a tunnel-vision connection" between the two of them.

"It's something special and you can't fully explain it. It's magic, and I'm just grateful to be going through this with you," Thomas said.

Thomas and Katie had a steamy makeout session, with Katie sitting on the bachelor's lap. Thomas said all of the happiness and confidence he felt was out of a storybook and he and Katie definitely had undeniable chemistry.

Katie then decided to give the first group-date rose to Thomas, and she shared how she could envision a life with him outside of the show.
