The Voice has determined its Top 12 artists for Season 14 after advancing eight more contestants to next week's live shows during Wednesday night's special one-hour broadcast.
On Monday night, this season's Top 24 hopefuls performed solos for home viewer votes, and America decided to send the best of the best to the Top 12: Brynn Cartelli, Sharane Calister, Kyla Jade and Britton Buchanan.
And then over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday night's episodes of the Live Playoffs, the 20 remaining artists took the stage a second time, fighting for one of those last eight spots in the Top 12, which will be comprised of three team members for each coach -- Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys.
The eight artists who made it into the Top 12 last night were Pryor Baird, Kaleb Lee, Jackie Foster, Rayshun Lamarr, Spensha Baker, D.R. King, Christiana Danielle, and Jackie Verna.
The four artists voted through by America were Pryor, a 35-year-old from Nashville, TN; Kaleb, a 32-year-old from Ormond Beach, FL; Jackie F., a 22-year-old from Boston, MA; and Rayshun, a 33-year-old from Fort Washington, MD.
As for the other four contestants, each person was selected by his or her own coach to continue on in the competition.
Blake advanced Spensha, a 25-year-old from Boerne, TX, and therefore eliminated Austin Giorgio, a 21-year-old from Rochester, NY; Gary Edwards, a 26-year-old from Dallas, TX; and Wilkes, a 33-year-old from Waleska, GA, from his team.
Blake said it "sucked so bad" to make this decision and it was "awful," but he chose to keep Spensha on his team because he has high hopes for the artist, who can truly make an impact on her genre of music. Blake believes country music needs Spensha's talent and unique voice right now.
Kelly cried about having to send some of her team members home, as she wants to make all of their dreams come true. But she decided to advance D.R., a 34-year-old from Harlem, NY, since he's the person who initially stole her heart with his song selection during the Blind Auditions.
Kelly therefore ousted Alexa Cappelli, an 18-year-old from Upland, CA; Tish Haynes Keys, a 38-year-old from St. Louis, MO; and Dylan Hartigan, a 21-year-old from Wyckoff, NJ.
Alicia called her decision "atrocious" and joked about wanting to quit The Voice that day so she wouldn't have to make it. However, Alicia chose to advance Christiana, a 22-year-old from Fort Wayne, IN, because she is so special. Alicia said she went with her heart on this one.
As a result, Alicia sent the following team members packing: Johnny Bliss, a 26-year-old from New York, NY; Kelsea Johnson, a 22-year-old from Woodland Hills, CA; and Terrence Cunningham, a 36-year-old from Los Angeles, CA.

And Adam confessed he hates the new The Voice format and never wants to see it again. Adam said his choice would probably surprise people, but he heard a song on the radio earlier that day and pictured one of his team members singing it, and that person was Jackie V., a 23-year-old from West Chester, PA.
Adam therefore eliminated Reid Umstattd, a 34-year-old musician from Austin, TX; Drew Cole, a 25-year-old from Los Angeles, CA; and Mia Boostrom, a 25-year-old from Boston, MA, from the Season 14 competition.
These results were announced by The Voice host Carson Daly after "Team Kelly" and "Team Adam" performed for votes.
Viewers watching Kaleb Lee sing "Die a Happy Man," Alexa Cappelli sing "Stop and Stare," D.R. King perform "All On My Mind," Dylan Hartigan sing "Mary Jane's Last Dance," and Tish perform "At Last."
As for the team members representing the Maroon 5 frontman, Reid performed "Long Cool Woman," Jackie Verna sang "Once," Drew Cole performed "Wild Horses," Mia Boostrom belted out "Either Way," and Rayshun wowed with "I'm Going Down."
