As The Voice coach Blake Shelton put it during Tuesday night's performance show, if this was a race, Christina Aguilera's team lapped Adam Levine's team multiple times.

The Voice concluded its eighth-season "Live Playoffs" during which Adam and Christina's entire five-person teams performed for America's vote during Tuesday night's broadcast on NBC.

On Night 2 of the "Live Playoffs," Adam and Christina watched their teams take the stage one at a time to sing a stripped-down solo in the hopes of impressing home viewers. Only three artists from each team will end up advancing to the Top 12 live shows.

Blake made it clear that he believes Christina's team is stronger than Adam's. In fact, she might just have the strongest team on the show this season.

Adam's five teammates were Tonya Boyd-Cannon, Joshua Davis, Brian Johnson, Nathan Hermida, and Deanna Johnson.

Tonya sang "Take Me to the Pilot." She delivered a bold performance in which she felt free in the moment and, according to coach Pharrell Williams, got everyone's spirit moving.

Joshua performed "Budapest" and Blake admitted it was a dumb move not to keep him on his own team.

Brian took the stage with "At This Moment." Both Adam and Pharrell got on their feet following the performance, and Blake called him "a perfect vocalist." Pharrell said it "masterful" and "graceful."

Nathan performed "Chains." Although he had some vocal issues, Adam was glad to see he gave it 100% effort and finally performed fearlessly.

Deanna sang "Down to the River to Pray." She originally auditioned for Season 5 and didn't manage to turn one chair around, so she has come miles since then. She was complimented for her "wholesome sound," and Adam called her performance "flawless."

The five members of Christina's team were Sonic, Kimberly Nichole, Lexi Davila, India Carney, and Rob Taylor.

Sonic sang "I'm Goin' Down" and put a lot of emotion and feeling into the song. She was also praised for recovering in an impressive manner when making a couple little mistakes here or there.

Kimberly performed "What's Up" and received a standing ovation from all four coaches. Pharrell called it "perfection," saying viewers saw the depths of her soul. Adam said it's an "unbelievably hard" song and she "destroyed" it. Blake explained that "Team Christina" lapped Adam's for the first time -- if not twice -- and Christina complimented Kimberly's raw, amazing talent.

Lexi belted out "All By Myself." Her old coach, Adam, was genuinely happy for her. Blake admitted Christina's team had taken another lap around Adam's team at this point. Christina told Lexi she's her biggest fan and nailed the extremely difficult high note.

India took the stage with "Hurt." Once again, all four coaches got up on their feet. Blake confessed Christina's team was just unbelievable and amazing. After Blake called out how another lap had been taken on Adam's team, Christina explained how she just captivates an audience with how she uses her instrument.

Rob sang "You're Worth It" and blew everyone away. He, also, got a standing ovation from the coaches. Pharrell noted his performance was "the definition of different" and completely effortless. Adam just kept repeating "damn!"

On Wednesday night, the Top 12 will be revealed on The Voice. In previous seasons, two artists from each team advanced based on the voting and then each coach got to select the third -- and final -- contestant to move forward in the competition and represent his or her team.
