Lee from Colts Neck, NJ, and Schuler from Yardley, PA, battled it out during Monday night's quarterfinals performance show and shook the ground with their renditions of classic hits. Lee, 16, wowed the crowd with "Cry Baby" by Janis Joplin. Schuler, 20, sang "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge.

"It's almost like within 'Team Christina' [Matthew] and Jacquie, it's like blow for blow for classics. You both came out singing at the top of your ranges," coach Blake Shelton said during last night's broadcast.

After Lee performed "Cry Baby," a song of her own choosing, Aguilera was so excited she got up out of her chair and ran onto the stage, raving about her team member.

"She left her heart on this stage, on this floor, for all of you! It's hard to do! Honestly, just the courage that it takes. It's true. I see so much of myself in you. I'm just so proud of you. I see the courage in you grow and the belief in yourself, and that's what this is all about for you! I'm just so proud, I had a moment!" Aguilera exclaimed.

"It's truly amazing," coach Cee Lo Green added.

"I really believe that you're like a medium of some sort, like some type of vessel, where this [old soul] passes through... You truly embody that aspiration at such a young age. It's truly amazing! And I have to commend Christina as far as coaching, because you've done some of the most centric and obscure song choices for such a young artist."

Schuler's "When a Man Loves a Woman," selected for him to sing by Aguilera, also made an impression on the coaches.

"It really takes a great vocalist to be able to embody any sort of genre of music, and I think you, out of anyone on this show, has really shown how many different things you're able to do," Aguilera explained. "You're so versatile, and the fact you keeping digging into yourself to reach for those vocals... To take it back to basics is really phenomenal, that you're able to have this wide range."

"That was as good as I've ever heard you sing," Shelton added.

During Monday night's broadcast, Lee also took the stage with "The Voice Within" by Aguilera, as the song was given to her to sing by her coach. Schuler picked the song "Story of my Life" by One Direction to perform.

Another artist who delivered a standout performance was Tessanne Chin from Kingston, Jamaica. After she sang "Unconditionally" by Katy Perry on behalf of "Team Adam," Shelton called her a "world class vocalist."

The remaining artists in The Voice competition are as follows: "Team Blake" member Cole Vosbury; "Team Christina" members Schuler and Lee; and "Team Adam" artists Chin, James Wolpert, and Will Champlin.
