LuAnn de Lesseps, Bethenny Frankel, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord, Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin will all return for the upcoming installment of the reality series, which will also feature new recurring cast members Sonja Morgan and Jennifer Gilbert -- whose addition was announced in October.

Morgan is a single-mother of a 9-year-old daughter and has worked as a manager and consultant at various New York City restaurants, while Gilbert -- who has been married for seven years and has three children with her husband -- owns and runs a corporate and social event planning company and also serves as the co-owner of a baby carrier company.

Bravo renewed The Real Housewives of New York City for a third season in July, and it began casting for additional housewives because all the women -- except Bensimon, who had joined the show for its second season -- were still unsigned for the new season. The reason for the hold-out was reportedly money.

However Bravo subsequently began production on The Real Housewives of New York City in August with Bensimon, Frankel, Zarin, McCord, de Lesseps and Singer all onboard, reportedly settling the contract dispute.

Bravo announced in October that it was developing a new reality series starring Frankel that will follow the former The Apprentice: Martha Stewart runner-up as she focuses on her love life and career as a natural foods chef.

Life & Style subsequently reported Morgan would replace Frankel midway through the third season, however Frankel denied it and instead revealed she was both engaged and pregnant.

In addition to The Real Housewives of New York City's third-season debut, Bravo also announced it has picked up Frankel's spinoff.  Dubbed Bethenny's Getting Married?, the show will follow Frankel as she juggles her career with her wedding and pregnancy.

Bravo will air a sneak peak of The Real Housewives of New York City's third season during The Real Housewives of Orange County's January 14 episode.
