This week's The Golden Bachelor episode featured Gerry embarking on overnight Fantasy Suite dates with each of his final two bachelorettes -- Leslie Fhima and Theresa Nist -- and concluded with him revealing that he believed he had made the difficult decision of deciding which woman to pick as his winner.

Gerry, 72, has dropped clues for months that he's currently happy and in love with the woman he picked as his winner when The Golden Bachelor season was filmed earlier this year.

Gerry therefore teased what's on the horizon for him and his new significant other in terms of possibly getting married.

"There's a lot of possibilities out there. And we have many roads to travel before we get to that," Gerry explained to his local Indianapolis Star newspaper in an interview that was published on Tuesday, November 14.

"But I'm open to all possibilities today as I was open to all possibilities at the very beginning of this journey."

Gerry has a home on a lake in Indiana, and he appears to live close to his daughters and granddaughters.

But Leslie, 64, is a fitness instructor from Minneapolis, MN, and Theresa, 69, is a financial services professional from Shrewsbury, NJ.

When asked where he and his The Golden Bachelor plan to live, Gerry revealed, "That's a good question, and I think I've resolved it with my person."

The retired restaurateur went on to share, "We've had good conversation about it, and there are a number of options, and we haven't come to a final conclusion on that. I really like where I live. She really likes where she lives."

As for the more immediate future, Gerry dished about his holiday plans for the end of 2023.

"They're pretty generic," he admitted. "My oldest daughter [Jenny and her husband John] always host Thanksgiving, and she lives in Yorkville, IL, which is around the west side of Chicago."

Gerry elaborated, "I'll be over there, probably Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at least... And then at Christmas, we're at my youngest daughter's, and that tends to be an extended stay because her birthday is the 27th."

Gerry made no mention of a significant other in those Christmas plans, however The Golden Bachelor finale previews have shown Gerry looking at an engagement ring.

And Gerry recently confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, "Yeah, [I'm in love]. Yes."

Show host Jimmy Kimmel joked about how Gerry probably wasn't supposed to give that away, and so Gerry played coy and quipped, "But I didn't say with whom, you know, I love my daughters."

And back in September, Gerry seemed thrilled about his life and relationship status during an appearance on Good Morning America.

When asked if he's in love, Gerry replied with a huge smile on his face, "Well, if I didn't, would I be sitting here smiling from ear to ear?! I can't tell you I did, though."

Gerry also previously told Entertainment Weekly, "I'm so pleasantly surprised by how things ended, there's absolutely no regrets."

Gerry narrowed down his bachelorettes to only two, Leslie and Theresa, after having an excruciating breakup with Faith Martin.

Gerry had professed his love to Faith during her hometown date -- in front of her kids and grandchildren -- only to deny her a rose at the subsequent Rose Ceremony.

"For about three and a half weeks, I didn't feel like a human," Faith admitted to People after The Golden Bachelor: The Women Tell All episode aired last week.

"I seriously felt like my left brain and my right brain were not aligning. In my logical brain, I could understand the way things played out, but in my heart I felt like a shattered emotional wreck."

The brunette beauty added, "So just getting those two to realign and getting back into the real world was very difficult for me."
