The Golden Bachelor alum Nancy Hulkower has revealed that her late 2025 romance didn't work out and she's single again.

Nancy had teased on "The Ben & Ashley I: Almost Famous" podcast in November that she was seeing someone and their romance was very new.

The Season 1 The Golden Bachelor alum shared at the time, "We've been talking and we're going to see each other in a couple of weeks. That's all I can say because I haven't met him in person. But we chat on the phone every day."

But Nancy revealed that her relationship with that guy crashed and burned during a Wednesday, January 7 appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour" podcast.

"As you all know, I mentioned to Ben Higgins that I had been talking to someone. Anyway, we did meet, and unfortunately, he wasn't all that he said he was," Nancy admitted to co-hosts Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles.

"He didn't present in-person like he presented on the phone and on paper."

Kathy joked about how this man had probably said he was 6'4" with a full head of curly hair when he's actually 4'9" and bald. Kathy also laughed about how the guy had probably said he was athletic but turned out to be 50 pounds overweight.

"No, not true, not true," Nancy said with a laugh.

"And I have to say, I'm disappointed, but you know what? I still have hope and I'm still ready to find my guy."

Nancy shared how the one word that comes to mind when she thinks about what she's looking for in a partner is "a true gentleman."

Nancy added, "And Kevin Costner is single, I've heard that! And Colin Firth."

Nancy went on to reveal that the only men DMing her on Instagram are in their eighties or forties.

"They say, 'I'm not golden but I'd love to be your bachelor!'" Nancy recalled. "That flatters me a little bit."

When Nancy teased this relationship late last year, she said it was a big deal for her.

"Truly, I've had one date in the last five years because, you know, I've been very busy with Bachelor Nation," Nancy admitted at the time.

"And since our season, no I didn't date. So this would be the first one that I really wanted to [date]. And so I'm hopeful for the future."

Nancy self-eliminated from Gerry Turner's The Golden Bachelor season in Week 4 because she didn't think their connection was strong enough to last forever.

Nancy proceeded to go on a date with Gary Levingston on Bachelor in Paradise's tenth season in Summer 2025.

Fellow The Golden Bachelor alum Leslie Fhima -- who was also interested in Gary in Paradise -- claimed on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast last summer that Nancy and Gary actually had "a history" before joining the spinoff.

"Nancy had made it clear to everybody -- she announced before she went on the date -- to us all that were sitting there, 'I just want you to know that Gary and I have been talking a lot and we have a history, so that's why I picked him [for a date],'" Leslie claimed.

But Leslie speculated that Nancy and Gary had been "DMing or texting" rather than talking in-person or on the phone prior to filming Bachelor in Paradise.

"So I was kind of taken aback a little bit because I didn't know that happened, although [Kathy Swarts] did tell me numerous times, 'Gary is only here for Nancy.' So I did hear that a lot," Leslie recalled.

"[I said], 'I hope you have fun, and I hope he picks me at the Rose Ceremony!' What can I say?! I don't know. I mean, we're all friends, and it's a weird position to be in."

When Gary had a rose to hand out at the next Rose Ceremony, he gave it to Leslie, and so Nancy was eliminated.

"I knew what we had; I knew our connection was really strong," Leslie insisted. "And I knew our date was amazing. I had no idea what [Nancy and Gary] were doing."

When asked if she talked to Gary about his "history" with Nancy afterward, Leslie couldn't remember.

"I think we sat down and had a conversation about it a little bit," Leslie said.

"I did bring up the fact that they have the same faith. I am Jewish and he's Christian, and so [I asked], 'Does that play [a role in dating]?' And he said, 'No, I dated a Jewish woman before.'"

Leslie elaborated, "So I think we had a conversation like that, but I don't remember saying, 'Did you have a strong connection with Nancy before the show?' I don't think I asked him that."

Gary eventually got eliminated from the show, and he left with the intention of continuing to date Leslie in the real world.

However, Gary and Leslie's romance fizzled out and then Gary met someone new. He went Instagram official with his girlfriend in early October.
