The Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe has finally revealed why she sent Ben Higgins packing.

"Ben H(andsome): Ben is one lovable dude. Did you guys see how he stood up for me? We had a solid, healthy and happy relationship. I think it is no secret that I like passion and intensity. And I think that was one thing missing between us," Bristowe wrote in her People blog.
"I know that sounds crazy because I know a life with Ben would be easy and enjoyable, but I just felt a lack of intensity, and that's just me being honest. What Ben and I went through on our journey was not easy! I put him in a tough position, and I screwed up."
Bristowe is reminding people she's only "human" and therefore had slip-ups during her journey. One mistake was when Bristowe snuck into Booth and Higgins' hotel room off-camera in Texas. After a six-hour conversation, Higgins showered and then Bristowe told Booth he's "the one" for her. Higgins could tell the mood had changed once he rejoined the couple, and he later confronted Bristowe about his gut feeling.
"My mistake did allow me to see a tiny glimpse of intensity in Ben and truthfully brought us closer. I wish that man nothing but great things, and he better find someone as great as him," she said.
Along the same lines, Bristowe had nothing but positive things to say about Jared Haibon.
"Sigh. Such a class act. A sweet, compassionate gentleman. I found Jared super attractive from the moment he was honest with me about voting for [Britt Nilsson]. It takes a strong and confident man to do that. To me, Jared had such a handsome mysterious look, but he was no mystery. He was just an obviously honest man," Bristowe explained.
Haibon admitted during The Men Tell All that he often thinks about Bristowe and certainly missed her for a while.
"It's hard to know that some of these men still have these feelings or that I could have had such an effect on their lives. But I hope they know they had an effect on mine as well. Guys like Jared are guys I won't forget," she confessed.
"We had such a special thing, and we always had such a great time... I am interested to see how things go for Jared on Bachelor in Paradise. He deserves the best!!"
The Bachelorette star also wants certain guys to know how much she appreciated their support and kind words at The Men Tell All.
"Listening to the guys interact with each other reminded me of why I had feelings for the men I did. It meant a lot to hear them stand up for me," she said.
