The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher eliminated Luke Pell and Chase McNary, determining her Final 2 suitors, during Monday night's broadcast on ABC.

The broadcast picked up right where last week's episode had left off, with Luke getting ready for the Rose Ceremony in Los Angeles immediately after telling JoJo he was in love with her. Although JoJo had been waiting to hear those words from Luke, she decided to give her three roses to Chase, Robby Hayes and Jordan Rodgers.

"This was not supposed to happen. I feel like a person who just got hit by a train," Luke said in his final words. "I would've been ready to propose to her today. I was in love with her but I never got the chance to love her, and that's, I think, what hurts the most. I barely got to say it and then it was too little too late."

Later on, JoJo eliminated Chase mid-Fantasy Suite date. After he also finally confessed his love to the Bachelorette, she realized she didn't feel the same way and therefore sent him packing.

"I get a Fantasy Suite card and then I get sent home," Chase said following his ouster. "That's like, 'Pull your pants down and kick me in the nuts.' So many highs turned out to be such a low, all because I said, 'I love you.' I shouldn't have said that. Why did I do that? I'm embarrassed and I'm heartbroken."

Going back to the beginning of the episode, JoJo said she struggled to know where Luke stood throughout the process, so she felt the need to let him go. Luke looked stunned and so upset, saying he had dreamed of their future together.

JoJo cared so much about him, and Luke was kicking himself for not saying or doing more. Luke thought JoJo could tell how he felt through his actions all along.

When JoJo hugged Luke goodbye, she was bawling and said she was going to miss him. Luke admitted he missed her already.

"I'm sorry," Luke told her as he stepped into the limo.

"I did not know what this was going to feel like and he just thought I knew!" JoJo cried to the cameras afterward. "Like what if that was a mistake? That scares me. I miss him! I miss him already."

JoJo, Chase, Robby and Jordan then took off to Thailand for the week of overnight Fantasy Suite dates.

JoJo woke up that morning feeling better about her decision because she felt extremely confident in the three relationships she had left. She was getting to the point of being in love and hoped the overnight dates would bring her some clarity.

Robby's date was up first. Although she hadn't expressed her love, Robby was convinced JoJo loved him because of their passion and the way they interacted with one another. For their date, they walked through a local market, and Robby continued to fall harder for her. Robby's end-goal was to propose, and he was ready for that.

At dinner that night, Robby gave JoJo a letter addressed to him from his father. His dad told Robby not to worry about the situation regarding his ex-girlfriend because it's old news, also acknowledging how clear it was that Robby has found true love. Robby promised JoJo he wouldn't "comp out" and walk away from her, and JoJo could really envision a future with him.

Robby accepted the Fantasy Suite invitation and was thrilled to sleep next to JoJo and dream with her.

"I want to be that guy who's late to work because he doesn't want to get out of bed with her and the guy who rushes home early from work because he can't wait to get back to her," Robby told the cameras.

Meanwhile, JoJo was also crazy about Robby.

"I am so sure of how I feel. There's a way he looks at me that just lets me know what he's saying is true and I trust him and I believe him. I feel ready to want to be intimate with Robby and have that time with him. At this point, I know I love Robby and I know I'm ready to take that next step," JoJo explained in a confessional, adding that she felt wanted and loved and appreciated by him.

JoJo was absolutely in love with Robby at this point and wanted to tell him, however, Ben Higgins' love admission crushed her once he decided to pick another girl at the end of his The Bachelor season. JoJo didn't want any of her guys to be in that position down the road.

JoJo planned to say, "I love you," when she knew she wanted to be with that man -- without a shadow of a doubt -- for the rest of her life.

The following day, JoJo and Jordan embarked on a tough hike. She was definitely falling in love with him as well. At the end of their tough climb, the couple found a cave, and at the bottom, there was a sacred temple. The pair talked in the temple, but kissing wasn't allowed, which was hard for them considering they had intense chemistry.

Jordan knew they were continuing to write their love story. She wanted to connect with him, however, on the same emotional level as they had on a physical level. She needed to discover if they could spend forever together.

Jordan then explained to JoJo that his only reservation in this whole process is the fact her father might not believe he's the guy who will protect and love his daughter. Jordan would want her father to believe that. It was easy for JoJo to envision a life with Jordan, but she still wondered if he was too good to be true. JoJo feared getting her heart broken again, but she hoped those doubts would go away.

During their date, JoJo asked Jordan what the next year of his life looks like, clearly hoping he'd say something about an engagement and being with her. However, Jordan simply replied, "I don't know what it's going to look like actually," which made JoJo really nervous. She wants a stable life with a guy and acknowledged how much Jordan travels.

Jordan assured the Bachelorette that while he doesn't have or need a homebase right now, he'd be wherever she needed him to be. JoJo knew two different lifestyles can ruin a relationship, so she just wanted to make sure Jordan would make her a priority. Jordan promised his future belonged to her, and JoJo just needed to trust it.

JoJo then asked how Jordan knew she was the one, and he said he was a better person with her and had a feeling he never had before. He also said he's a much different person than the guy who thought he was in love for the first time. Jordan insisted when he pictures an engagement and a woman walking down the aisle towards him on his wedding day, that person is definitely JoJo.

JoJo felt amazing after their discussion because she got every answer she wanted. Jordan later accepted the Fantasy Suite date invitation.

"I am here because I am so in love with JoJo and she is exactly what I want in my wife. Our attraction to each other, how much fun we have together, I can be myself with her, I can see her walking down the aisle, and I can see a future. I want her to trust my intentions that this is going to be a team effort," Jordan told the cameras.

"It's so exciting for me to know that at this point, Jordan and I both love each other. He may not know that because I just know I am not ready to tell him that I love him," JoJo explained.

"It's so crazy to think back on that first night and knowing that I gave Jordan the First Impression Rose, and to be sitting here now at the overnight date, just being here and knowing that I love him. We have fun together but we also have that passion and that chemistry, and I feel so happy."

When the couple woke up the next morning, Jordan said he couldn't stop smiling and believed everything was right.

"We took a big step last night in a really exciting direction, and now I'm so confident in me and JoJo and what we have," Jordan said in a confessional.

JoJo was concerned about being in love with two guys at once. She later called it "cruel, twisted irony" since she didn't think it was possible for Ben to truly love two women at once -- herself and Lauren Bushnell -- at the time of The Bachelor. She was confused and worried to fall in love with three men.

With that said, Chase's date was up next. Chase missed JoJo and couldn't wait to spend the day with her. He said the real magic was when he felt JoJo falling in love with him back.

The couple walked around a marketplace together and had so much fun. Chase brought joy to JoJo's life, and she noticed he was more playful and silly than ever, which she loved. It was clear Chase's walls were down and he was fully invested in the process. The pair then took a little boat ride and Chase made her feel so special. Chase loved her personality and sex appeal, calling her "unstoppable."

Chase and JoJo then spent time together on a private beach. This journey had allowed Chase to be more vocal and open, so he was thankful for that. They had a perfect day and JoJo didn't want it to end. They were both very excited about the night portion to come, and Chase felt no hesitation about the fact JoJo would be the girl he gets down on one knee and proposes to.

"I am absolutely in love with JoJo and I am so excited to tell JoJo how I feel. And there is really no better time than now," Chase told the cameras.

However, Robby arrived at JoJo's hotel when there was a break in her date with Chase. Robby just gushed about how ready he was to marry JoJo and be her husband. He couldn't stop thinking about her and what their lives would look like together. He said he wanted kids with her, and JoJo loved how Robby always managed to surprise her.

At JoJo's dinner with Chase that night, he told the Bachelorette that love is security and protection and he wanted to be the man to provide that for her. Chase then accepted the Fantasy Suite date invitation and intended to confess his love, which he assumed would excite her.

"I want to say that I'm 100% in love with you," Chase told JoJo in the Fantasy Suite. "It's wild because I've never told anybody that first, and I know the burden that sentence -- that phrase -- carries. But I'm ready to carry that and I'm ready to carry that for you."

JoJo thanked him for telling her that because she had been pushing him to open up all season long. Hearing those words, however, JoJo was filled with "an overwhelming fear of doubt." She realized she didn't feel the way she should when a man confesses his love.

As Chase gushed about how he couldn't envision his world without her in it, JoJo told him she needed to leave the room. She went outside and cried because she knew what she had to do. JoJo felt sick to her stomach, and it broke her heart to think about saying goodbye to Chase. She really wanted to fall in love with him and didn't want to hurt him.

"I care for him, but I know where my heart stands in those relationships that I have with Robby and I have with Jordan, and I think my relationship with Chase is maybe a little bit behind. Our relationship just isn't where it needs to be," she told the cameras.

Once JoJo returned, she broke the bad news to Chase. Her heart wasn't in the same place, and JoJo explained that she never thought they'd get on the same page.

"I don't know if spending this night together would change that feeling, and I almost feel like it would be unfair. And I don't even know if this is making sense right now," JoJo said.

"Oh, I get the point," Chase snapped before taking a big gulp of wine.

JoJo wanted to talk to him, but Chase was furious, saying he had jumped over a huge hurdle in telling her that he loved her. Chase said confessing his love left him "skewered" and "shattered."

"You 100% have made me regret saying that," Chase vented to JoJo. "So now love equals, 'Get the f-ck out?' That was so f-cking terrifying for me to say and now look at where I end up. You never gave it a chance."

Chase asked JoJo what was missing, and she said nothing other than the fact she wouldn't be able to say, "I love you," in a week. JoJo said she was trying to be fair and didn't want to blindside Chase or not be honest.

"You kind of just did all that," Chase blurted out.

JoJo told Chase that if she had met him outside of the show and her other relationships, they'd have a great one and she'd be so happy and lucky to be with him. JoJo noted if they spent the night together, his elimination would just be harder on the both of them. JoJo hated making Chase feel bad, and as they were sitting there talking, Chase looked like he was about to cry.

Chase quickly gave JoJo a half-hearted hug and took off. She ran after him crying, but Chase was angry and obviously didn't want to talk anymore. JoJo, justifying her feelings for him, asked why she'd even give him a Fantasy Suite invitation if she was just planning the whole time to send him packing.

"Well, you did," Chase said.

Chase then cracked a beer, got in a van, and headed off to the airport.

The next day, JoJo expressed how saying goodbye to Chase solidified her feelings for Jordan and Robby. She loved them both but needed to figure out whom that "forever love" was going to be with.

At the Rose Ceremony, Chase surprised JoJo and asked to speak with her. While Jordan and Robby anticipated he was going to ask for a second chance, Chase just wanted to talk things out and apologizing for behaving so hastily.

Chase didn't want things to end the way they did. He insisted he was proud of her and impressed by her. Chase reiterated how his love was real and even pointed out that if things don't work out with the man she chooses, his heart would still be open for her. Chase said he wasn't mad and wanted what's best for her -- although he was certain it was him.

JoJo then handed out roses to Jordan and Robby.

Both guys were extremely confident and secure, which bothered JoJo a little bit because she knew one of them would end up devastated. The Bachelorette admitted she had the "toughest decision" she'd ever make next week.
