The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison apparently believes Jared Haibon is a great guy and a great catch, but his facial hair is, well, not so great.

Haibon, a 26-year-old restaurant manager from Warwick, RI, proved himself to be quite the sweetheart and gentleman on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of The Bachelorette.

Even when he was getting dumped at the Rose Ceremony which determined the Final 3, Haibon offered Bristowe his coat because the Ireland air was chilly. Bristowe questioned whether she was making a mistake because she didn't have one bad thing to say about the fun and kind Rhode Island native.

"Jared is the guy everybody knew was probably going home, but nobody wanted him to go home. Even the crew and producers loved Jared; he's a great guy," Harrison told TV Guide in a recent interview.

But...

"Could he have a much better beard? Yes, I think America will agree we need to shave it off or make it full," Harrison continued. "But beyond the spotty beard, everybody loved him and same with Kaitlyn. That's why he was here for so long... she couldn't let him go. His exit was exactly how you thought it would be."

Harrison repeated those same sentiments in his Yahoo TV! blog.

"[Breakups] don't always go so nice. Unless of course you're breaking up with a guy like Jared. Jared took his departure far better [than Joe Bailey]. He's a truly classy guy... Now we just need to work on his facial 'hair,'" the show host explained.

Haibon will be competing on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise later this summer. The series is set to premiere with a two-night event on Sunday, August 2 and Monday, August 3 from 8-10PM ET/PT on ABC.
