The Bachelorette alum Ivan Hall has finally dished the details about his new girlfriend Tailour more than one month after he first teased his new relationship on social media.

"I do have a girlfriend and so I cannot come back to Paradise this year," Ivan confirmed to Us Weekly on its "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast, right around the same time Bachelor in Paradise began filming its eighth edition.
Ivan said he and his girlfriend "actually go way back" because they met each other in college although they went to different schools.
They apparently met during a winter night out in Austin when Ivan was attending Texas Tech. Tailour, meanwhile, went to the University of Texas.
"We dated a little bit, then spent some time apart. She went to med school. I moved to Florida for an engineering job and stuff like that," Ivan explained.
"And then we reconnected in Fall of last year. She got her first residency [job]. She's an anesthesiologist."
Ivan shared how Tailour got her first job in Dallas, TX, and then they "started to reconnect from there on."
"I did always kind of think with me and her, that it could work out long-term. We are a very good match from the same area," Ivan said.
"I've known her for forever and she's a good person. So I'm very happy that we're together now and being able to be together."
Ivan pointed out how things just "randomly worked out" for the both of them.
"Who would've thought I would've taken this detour in life, going on The Bachelorette and my Florida job and all that stuff?" Ivan said.

Ivan's girlfriend even watched his season of The Bachelorette starring Tayshia Adams.
"She definitely watched The Bachelorette with Tayshia," Ivan said.

But it sounds like Tailour didn't get to watch Ivan's short-lived romance with Kendall Long on Bachelor in Paradise. Ivan didn't get into a serious romance last summer and just dated around a bit on the show.
"Did she watch Paradise? I don't think she watched too much of Paradise. I think she knows some of the highlights, but, like, she didn't really watch the entire thing," Ivan explained.
Ivan joked about how he and Tailour have "fun" with his reality TV past. For instance, they watched the 2022 MTV Movies & TV Awards: Unscripted together that Tayshia actually hosted, and Ivan's girlfriend made playful eyes at him.
"My girlfriend is such an amazing catch. We grew up in the same area, so we kind of just know each other a little bit. And the fact she's just so driven as an anesthesiologist is great. We just get along," Ivan gushed.

"I definitely grew strong feelings for [Tayshia]. It is a very unique situation that I've never gone through at all before. So I was trying to process everything [after I was eliminated in third place]. I definitely liked her a lot," Ivan told Us.
But Ivan said he "rationalized" their split "pretty quickly," as they broke up over religious differences.
"I'm just not religious. I just don't affiliate with anything. And that's just how I am," Ivan explained.
"I get it. Like, everybody wants to marry who they wanna marry. I just totally went with that and that's what I stuck with. So it was pretty quick for me to get over it, to be honest."

Ivan received a sweet and reserved-guy edit on The Bachelorette, but he became a controversial character on Bachelor in Paradise.
Ivan was given the boot from Bachelor in Paradise because he had snuck into The Bachelor alum Alexa Caves' hotel room off-camera during a one-night tropical storm evacuation.
Alexa had yet to walk on the Paradise beach and officially join the show.
Although producers ordered the bachelors and bachelorettes to stay in their respective rooms, Ivan said he stumbled across a list of cast room numbers on a producer's phone that had accidentally been left in the room he shared with Noah Erb.
Ivan therefore went to Alexa's room, and he told Nick Viall on "The Viall Files" podcast how he and Alexa spent the whole night together having great conversation and kissing.
According to Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams, it was actually Alexa who "broke down" and "spilled" the beans about Ivan breaking the rules to visit her in the middle of the night, and then Wells proceeded to gently kick Ivan off the show.
Ivan apologized to the other bachelors and bachelorettes for going around the system, and he ultimately left Paradise alone and single.
