Gabby Windey has revealed whether she's chomping at the bit to get engaged to girlfriend Robby Hoffman after her broken engagement to The Bachelorette winner Erich Schwer.

Gabby, 32, and Erich got engaged on The Bachelorette's nineteenth-season finale, which aired in September 2022, but Gabby announced their amicable breakup just two short months later during an episode of Dancing with the Stars' 31st season.

"I do feel like [I was a] little caught up in 'Bachelor world.' I think it is a little dated," Gabby told Us Weekly about accepting Erich Schwer's marriage proposal on the show.

"Having said that, I was fully onboard when I was there because it is, like, just a part of it. You don't really allow yourself to think outside of the box with that kind of stuff, and I don't regret anything."

Gabby publicly declared how she had a crush on Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino while she was competing on Dancing with the Stars, but then she came out as gay in early August 2023 and revealed how she had been dating Robby for three months already.

"Now, I think I always allow my mind to change and evolve," Gabby shared of how her mindset has changed about relationships since appearing on The Bachelor franchise.

Gabby confirmed that while she'd like to walk down the aisle at some point, she's content with the idea of taking her time and letting things play out organically with Robby, a 33-year-old writer and comedian.

"I do want to get married. I think it's another level of commitment to bring two people closer," Gabby explained.

"Whether I want to do it [again] right away -- I think I'm just now getting on my feet, getting accustomed to this new life, really finding myself processing all the big change that's happened in a couple of years."

The Bachelor 26 alum therefore noted, "So I kind of want to revel in that and I don't want to rush a relationship. I want to be in the beginning. I want things to look forward to."

Gabby joked about how she feels "bad" for people who got married young.

"At [age] 18, like, what else is there in life?" The Bachelorette alum quipped. "You already did the biggest day of your life, you know what I mean?"

After Gabby revealed she's in a same-sex relationship, she gushed about how she feels "so safe" and "so loved" in her current relationship with Robby.

Back in September, Gabby said on the "Just B with Bethenny Frankel" podcast that she could see herself marrying Robby one day.

"I think it's just another way that we get to commit to each other. Maybe my views will change; I don't really have political views on it," The Bachelorette alum told Bethenny Frankel.

The Dancing with the Stars Season 31 runner-up also opened up about how she feels she's able to be "a little more romantic and cheesy" with Robby.

"We're always holding each other and [I] get to be a lot more softer and loving," Gabby gushed.

"She asked me to be her girlfriend with a Ring-Pop two weeks in... We celebrate [our anniversary] every month, but if a dude were to do that to me, disgusting! I'd be like, 'Do not act like that.'"

But when it comes to the idea of potentially starting a family, Gabby confessed, "We don't want kids."

When asked if she and Robby had made that decision together, Gabby shared, "Both of us didn't want them separately."

Gabby admitted she didn't open up much about this topic during her time on The Bachelor franchise, which started with Season 26 of The Bachelor starring Clayton Echard before she became a co-star of The Bachelorette's nineteenth season alongside Rachel Recchia.

"I was like, 'If I met the right person, then maybe I would have kids,'" Gabby recalled.

"Honestly, with Robby, I would love to see little Robbys, and I would love to see her as a mom because she's so hilarious and she's so present."

But Gabby is apparently living her best life now -- and she doesn't want to change that dynamic.

"We both had tumultuous childhoods and we both went through so much as kids, so we want to be kids now!" Gabby explained on the podcast.

"We are kids and we play so much. We want to be able to have room for ourselves and really treat our relationship like our child. That is our priority and we want to throw all of our resources into protecting it and growing it and nurturing it."

Gabby, however, did bring a dog into the relationship, and Robby already had a cat.

"They don't [get along] right now, so we're reading lots of material... We're hoping for the best," The Bachelor alum noted.

Gabby said she had "a lot of shame" to work through after her time on The Bachelor franchise but now she loves being in a monogamous relationship with Robby and believes "real love transcends gender."

Gabby pointed out how their communication is great and they work on that aspect of their relationship every single day. Not only do they communicate about their emotions, but Gabby revealed they're also very open about their sex life and their respective wants and needs in the bedroom.

"We really treat our relationship like a bubble. We want to protect it -- it's its own being and its own entity. We have to treat it separate. We can't just let one person fend for themselves," Gabby said.

The Bachelorette alum also boasted about how she and her girlfriend are both driven and career-minded.

"We both have our sh-t together... The other day, I was like, 'It's amazing we're both up and afloat in our careers because we spend so much time together,'" Gabby said.

"I respect her work so much. She grinds and she's out doing stand-up every night, and I want her to... and I know she's going to be supportive of my [goals]. We do work trips together."

In terms of their finances, Gabby shared how they split the cost of things and both contribute.

"I don't really want to buy into gender norms. I think it's like that even within the lesbian community. Robby is a little more masculine, but I'm like, 'We don't need to be doing that,'" Gabby said.

"I'm with a woman because I feel more emotionally connected. I feel safer with your soul and I like your being... We know what it's like to be a woman and we think similarly. I'm not with you because I want you to pay for everything."

Gabby concluded that she does "well" financially and so she thinks everything is "fine" and "fair."

When Gabby and Erich's engagement ended, Gabby said she and her former fiance weren't "in sync" or "the best match" for each other.

"I haven't heard a peep. I haven't heard a word," Gabby said of Erich's reaction to her new relationship.

Erich, meanwhile, announced he was in a new relationship with model and social media influencer Elizabeth Turner in February, but they've apparently called it quits since then.

Gabby said she began questioning her sexuality at age 30 and then her desire to date women became stronger while on tour for Dancing with the Stars earlier this year. She then met Robby outside of a bar.

Gabby said Robby charmed her with her personality and sense of humor.

"She was like, 'I'm not going to lie, Gabby, I want your number'... and then we went on our first date and the rest was history," Gabby said.
