The Bachelor star Ben Higgins has finally confirmed he proposed marriage to one of his two remaining bachelorettes at the end of his journey on the show.

"I am engaged!" Higgins told Good Morning America backstage at The Women Tell All taping. "I get to say that! I haven't said that in an interview yet!"

Higgins feels tremendous relief that he no longer has to hide the big news.

"You don't know how much stress and weight that is to carry on you for so long... I am engaged! Yes, finally!" Higgins exclaimed.

Higgins' announcement also confirms he actually selected one woman at Season 20's final Rose Ceremony.

Bachelor Nation was questioning whether Higgins had popped the question since he admittedly fell madly in love with both Lauren Bushnell and Joelle "JoJo" Fletcher. There was even some speculation he walked away alone because he was so torn.

Higgins just eliminated Caila Quinn during Monday night's episode of The Bachelor after his round of overnight Fantasy Suite dates. He felt something was missing with Quinn, while he flat out said the words "I love you" numerous times to Bushnell and Fletcher.
