The Bachelor bachelorette Alex Dillon lost out on love with Colton Underwood, but she's apparently still hopeful the right man -- or fellow sloth -- is out there for her.

Colton seemed to find Alex pretty funny, and he appreciated how she stayed in character for most of the night, but he still denied the brunette beauty a rose at the season's first Rose Ceremony.

One day after her elimination aired, Alex took to Instagram and revealed, "I'm not sure if this is a surprise to anyone but for the record -- I'm still single."

"What an amazing night! I miss Suzette the sloth dearly," Alex continued in her post.

"And shoutout to the handsome [Colton Underwood] who has the patience and pain tolerance of a lion. I can't wait to tune in to [The Bachelor] every Monday to watch the journey unfold. #thebachelor #teamsloth."

Not only was Alex's costume ridiculous, but she also moved and talked veryyyy slowlyyyy in her interactions with Colton.

At one point, Alex's fellow bachelorettes even spotted her hanging from a tree outside. Did she drink too much or was this part of her elaborate plan to get Colton's attention?

But Alex appeared to drop the act late into the cocktail party, when she finally unveiled her face to Colton and showed off her sleek, red dress and thin frame.

Alex then took the opposite approach of being a sloth and began speaking extremely quickly in her first real conversation with Colton, letting multiple facts about herself just roll off the tongue -- including how she was born on Cape Cod and loves all animals.

In the end though, it all proved to be a little bit too much for The Bachelor star, and the 26-year-old charity founder and former professional football player sent her packing.
