The Bachelor star Chris Soules reportedly agonized over whether to choose Whitney Bischoff and Becca Tilley at the end of his journey on the show, but one girl pretty much made the decision for him.

While Soules is currently "very happy" with the girl he ended up with, according to a show source, the runner-up just wasn't invested in winning the 33-year-old small-town farmer's heart.

"It really came down to a feeling. She just didn't feel it," the show source told Us Weekly, avoided the spoiler of which girl Soules allegedly picked.

However, Soules was absolutely crazy about both of his Final 2 bachelorettes.

"He genuinely fell in love with both women. In terms of the Bachelor not being sure who to pick, they were probably the closest ever," explained the source. "But the runner-up wasn't as into him, so he didn't choose her."

Soules apparently thought Bischoff and Tilley were women he'd never meet in Iowa, so he was extremely interested in both of them due to the fact they "appealed to different sides of him."

The Bachelor from Arlington, IA, was reportedly attracted to Bischoff's passion for her career and how eager she was to get married and have children.

On the other hand, Tilley was very innocent and laid-back. Soules had an "unexplainable chemistry" with Tilley but his connection to her was visceral, according to the show source, in that "there was this thing he couldn't let go of.

Soules' relationship with Tilley moved slower but wasn't any less meaningful than his bond with Bischoff. Both ladies were open to joining the Bachelor for their overnight fantasy-suite dates, although Tilley revealed that night she's a virgin.

"If Becca was ready right then and there to commit to Chris, she absolutely would have had sex. But it wasn't a real possibility," the show source told Us.

One week after The Women Tell All special airs on ABC, Bischoff and Tilley will both meet Soules' family.

The Bachelor star admitted to the magazine at The Women Tell All taping on February 21 he had such a hard time sending women home that he'd often wake up in the morning hyperventilating. He reportedly felt selecting whom should stay was basically like "throwing darts at a dartboard in the dark," said the source.

The Bachelor: The Women Tell All airs Monday February 2 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
