Kelsey Poe apparently believes her relationship with The Bachelor star Chris Soules ended differently from how America saw it unfold on TV.

While it appeared that Soules blindsided and dumped Poe on a two-on-one date earlier in the season, Poe is suggesting otherwise.

"Chris and I parted ways mutually," Poe, a 28-year-old guidance counselor from Austin, TX, told People. "I don't think that the relationship was building as quickly or in the direction that we wanted it to go."

Soules eliminated Poe after talking with Ashley Iaconetti, who had thrown Poe under the bus by insisting she's fake and disingenuous.

"I think that there will always be a part of me that wonders, in the back of my mind, if what Ashley said planted a seed of deceit, a seed of misunderstanding," she said. "So, I don't blame her. But I do wonder."

Iaconetti was also sent home during the two-on-one date, which caught her completely off-guard.

Poe was disliked by most of her fellow bachelorettes on Season 19 of the show, and she seemingly attempted to take advantage of Soules by sharing her sad story.

Poe, a widow, thought talking about her deceased husband would win her roses -- or at least points. Earlier in the season, Poe also suffered an alleged panic attack, which conveniently occurred moments before a Rose Ceremony.

Poe, whose late husband is named Sanderson, also told People she really wants to fall in love again.

"[I'm] ready to be a wife again, but with the right person," she said. "There will always be that place in my heart for [Sanderson] and I hope that [the new guy] will accept me for who I am."
