The Bachelor winner Kelsey Anderson has revealed what she and runner-up Daisy Kent talked about while being driven to Joey Graziadei's Final Rose Ceremony.

Not only were they sitting right next to each other, but they also held hands the entire time.

"We were both really emotional after our conversation, so we just decided, 'Let's ride together there.' And it was really special," Kelsey, 25, told Us Weekly during a joint interview with Joey on Wednesday, March 27.

On The Bachelor's Season 28 finale that aired on March 25 on ABC, Daisy predicted that she wasn't going to end up with Joey.

Daisy therefore sought out Kelsey in her hotel room to essentially compare notes about their final week of filming. (On typical seasons of The Bachelor franchise, the Final 2 contestants are not allowed to see each other or talk.)

Daisy admitted to Kelsey that something felt "off" and seemed to be "missing" with Joey during their last date in Tulum, and so she arguably spoiled the fact Kelsey was going to be Joey's winner.

During that car ride -- which appeared long and very awkward -- Kelsey recalled of her conversation with Daisy, "We just were really embracing each other and just telling each other how amazing each other were."

"And she just really wanted Joey and I to be happy and she was like, 'Don't worry about me.' She knows how I am and I was going to be thinking about her just like how she would be in that situation as well," the New Orleans native continued.

"But she's like, 'Don't think about me. I'm going to be okay. You embrace this moment.' And I did."

Kelsey also insisted on the March 26 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that her car ride with Daisy on The Bachelor finale "wasn't as awkward" as it appeared on the episode.

"Watching it, I was like, 'What is this?!'" Kelsey recalled to the podcast's co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt with a laugh.

"It did feel like a long car ride because I think we were all just nervous for the end."

Joey, who joined Kelsey for the "Bachelor Happy Hour" interview, admitted that he had no idea Daisy and Kelsey had talked and rode to the Final Rose Ceremony together.

"That was the craziest thing for me!" Joey shared on the podcast.

"[Kelsey] told me after, when we were leaving [the Final Rose Ceremony], she was like, 'Do you know me and Daisy rode in the car together?' And I was like, 'What?! That's not a thing!'"

Kelsey also confirmed, "[Joey] didn't know that we talked beforehand. He didn't know any of that."

"Yeah," Joey agreed. "So all of that was a surprise for me to finally see, too, and for her to tell me about."

Once Kelsey and Daisy arrived at the Final Rose Ceremony by the ocean, Daisy met Joey on a platform and bowed out of the Season 28 competition before he could officially dump her.

"Falling in love with you has been so fun and I do love you," Daisy told The Bachelor star at the Final Rose Ceremony. "But the thing is, you're not going to choose me."

Joey immediately broke down into tears, confirming that Daisy's gut instinct was correct.

Daisy told Joey that she realized in the previous few days that he wasn't her "person," and she added, "I know that you know I'm not your person. And as much as that hurts, umm, I know you said you want what's best for me, and so I'm going to do what's best for me -- and I'm going to go."

Both Joey and Daisy were crying, and Joey confessed, "You truly don't know how special you are... and it hurts so much that I know I have something more special with someone else. That's where my heart is leading me, and I know it's the right thing to do."

"I'll walk you out," Joey said.

"I think that's something I should do on my own," Daisy replied.

"I'm going to miss you," Joey cried.

"I'm going to miss you too," Daisy responded in tears. "I'm pulling for you!"

Daisy then returned to the van, hugged Kelsey and wished her well.

Daisy kindly told her friend, "I know your mom's going to be looking down on this moment and she's going to be so happy and so proud of you, okay?"

Joey proceeded to profess his love to Kelsey, and the pair got engaged. They are still together and planning to have a long engagement. They also have decided upon a Summer 2024 move to New York City.

Daisy, meanwhile, said on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose that she's not ready to date or find love again. Daisy said she wants to focus on her health as well as on her family and friends.
