Chris has made a habit in recent years of insisting each and every The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, or Bachelor in Paradise finale is going to be the "most dramatic ever," but Season 22 will apparently be special and outstanding.

"If you are a critic of Arie's season, I would tell you to wait. Just wait," Chris said during a media call with reporters on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bachelor Nation has had mixed reactions to Arie's season of The Bachelor. Some have argued it's uninteresting and Arie lacks charisma, while others appreciate the Bachelor's normalcy and the fact he's not trying to play an entertaining character on TV.

Regardless of the opinions out there, Arie's season comes to an end on March 5, 2018, and Chris is hinting that the finale is going to be epic!

"Prepare to have your mind blown," Chris said, according to The Reporter. "It will be a phenomenal finish. If there are critics out there, then trust that it's going to be phenomenal."

Does that mean Arie will be shown getting engaged in one of the most romantic proposals of all time? Does it mean, on the contrary, Arie's journey to find a fiance will actually end badly -- with the 36-year-old pro racing driver from Scottsdale, AZ, walking away single?

Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone released the details of what supposedly happens last month.

According to Carbone, Arie's Final 2 bachelorettes were Becca Kufrin, a 27-year-old publicist from Minneapolis, MN, and Lauren Burnham, a 25-year-old technology salesperson from Dallas, TX.

The final Rose Ceremony was filmed in Cusco, Peru, in mid-November, and Arie allegedly chose Becca as his winner.

The season therefore ended with Arie proposing marriage to Becca with a Neil Lane diamond engagement ring.

However, sources told Carbone that Arie was having second thoughts about his final decision once the show wrapped. One source said Arie, in fact, called his runner-up, Lauren, on the night of the January 1 premiere to talk.

By the middle of January, Arie allegedly dumped Becca. He was then spotted at Lauren's mother's home in Virginia on January 16.

Arie supposedly asked Lauren to give him another chance and she obliged, so now Arie and Lauren are together and dating!

Carbone says that Arie's breakup with Becca and subsequent reconciliation with Lauren were both taped by ABC cameras, so viewers will watch all of this drama play out on the show's finale next month.

"The guy who whined to us about not being in love for five years since Emily. The guy who's now a matured man and is 'not looking for someone to date, is looking for my wife,' couldn't give it more than TWO MONTHS to a woman [he had proposed to]... before taking back that whole day and immediately asking Lauren to date [him]," Carbone wrote in a blog post.

"Are you serious? Un-be-lievable. The season is a joke, he's a joke, and I feel sorry for Becca. This is your ending to this season and you will see it play out during the finale."
