The Bachelor couple Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph have shared how Cassie's father Matt Randolph currently feels about their relationship and whether he'd approve of an engagement.

Matt, a protective and caring father, made waves when he suddenly showed up to Cassie's hotel room in Portugal when she was scheduled to enjoy an overnight Fantasy Suite date with Colton on The Bachelor's 23rd season.

Matt advised his daughter to follow her heart and not rush into an engagement given she's only 23 years old.

Matt insisted he could tell Cassie was not completely in love with Colton, nor was she fully sold on the idea of being with him forever -- and so the conversation appeared to convince Cassie she needed to dump Colton and quit the show, resulting in a total meltdown for the former pro football player.

But Cassie gave Colton a second chance, and now they are dating in the real world. So how does Matt feel about their romance?

According to the couple, Colton and Matt get along great now and the Bachelor said he really respects Matt as a person and as a father.

"He's always loved Colton, and they hang out and talk and everything is good!" Cassie gushed during a Wednesday appearance with Colton on Good Morning America.

Matt was also previously shown rejecting Colton's request for Cassie's hand in marriage during the blonde beauty's hometown date in Huntington Beach, CA.

"[My dad] didn't give his blessing initially, but I think if I would've went in [to my hometown date] more sure of everything, he would have... [Colton] is going to have to ask him again!... He's supportive though," Cassie insisted.

Colton then revealed, "We watched the episodes as a family. I came down to Huntington and we watched the episodes together. [Matt] had control over the remote full time, and so he would keep pausing, breaking it down, and asking follow-up questions."

Colton reiterated how he's "spent a lot of time with" Cassie's family since filming during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, starring Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest.

"I haven't re-asked [for Matt's blessing to propose marriage]... [but] yes, I do plan on re-asking him," Colton shared.

Cassie apparently believes her father would say "yes" at this point if Colton happened to ask for his permission again.

And that time may come sooner rather than later!

Colton and Cassie revealed in their post-show press they often discuss getting engaged and have even talked about "the ring."

Colton is also moving to Los Angeles in order to be closer to Cassie, whom he firmly believes is The One for him and his "future wife."
