Former The Bachelor couple Clayton Echard and Susie Evans have reunited less than eight months after they announced their breakup in September 2022.

Susie and Clayton, both 29, have both said in recent and various media interviews that they've remained friendly with each other post-breakup -- and they just proved it.

Susie and Clayton posted a series of funny and lighthearted social-media videos with each other this past weekend.

Susie posted a TikTok video on Friday, May 12 of her meeting up with Clayton at the Nurse's Week benefit concert hosted by Operation Happy Nurse at the Mavericks Beach Club in San Diego, CA.

"Get ready with me to see my ex," Susie says in the video, before she heads to meet Clayton.

"Just kidding, kind of," she adds. "I mean, we are going to see Clayton, but, like, it's fine and I'm hungover, so."

Susie then showed footage of her hair and makeup transformation followed by the moment she and Clayton saw each other following months of being apart.

"You can't just [film me]," Clayton quips with a big smile on his face.

"I have to ask for your permission?" Susie claps back. "Whoa, God!"

The former couple proceeded to film another TikTok video together -- with Clayton willingly participating -- that night.

Susie captioned the video, "When you both get booked on an influencer trip and remember what it was like when you were dating. Me realizing how toxic I am for making you do this and thinking it's funny."

In the video, Susie and Clayton clink wine glasses and Susie -- lip syncing to a dialogue -- playfully accuses Clayton of being "insecure," which he denies. Susie also points out how he was only socially relevant two years ago.

"I am still socially relevant," Clayton mouths in reply.

For his part, Clayton also uploaded a video of the exes on his Instagram account. In the clip, Clayton puts his hand on Susie's thigh. Susie, appearing bewildered and turned off, asks Clayton, "What are you doing?"

"I'm just hanging around," Clayton responds.

Clayton chose Susie -- whom he called a "once-in-a-lifetime woman" -- as his winner on The Bachelor's 26th season, which aired in early 2022, over Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia.

But Susie left the show during Fantasy Suites because he had slept with, and also professed his love to, the other two women.

Clayton and Susie began communicating after filming ended in late 2021 and sparked up a romance in the real world. They publicly announced their relationship in March 2022 on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose.

Susie and Clayton have been single ever since calling it quits last year, but Susie shared on TikTok in late April how she had gone out on one of the best first dates of her life.

Susie also opened up about whether she could ever see herself getting back together with Clayton during a recent appearance on the "Bachelor Rush Hour With Dave Neal" podcast.

For his part, Clayton told Joe Amabile earlier this month on the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast that he's been seeing someone locally in Scottsdale, AZ, "on and off" for over a month.

"I don't want to jinx anything right now, but I'll just say this: I do have interest in someone I'm talking to right now," Clayton shared.

Clayton, however, questioned if he has the time to devote to somebody.

"But then at the same rate, I've had some really great conversations with somebody recently, and I'm pretty interested," explained the former football player and medical sales representative.

"I kind of caught myself wondering what [she's] doing... I'm starting to think about her. But it's early in the game."

Clayton said he liked how this woman -- whom he's "intrigued" by and "curious" about -- was giving him space and wasn't pushing to see him all the time.

"I don't want to feel like somebody is going to smother me," Clayton noted.

If that romance doesn't work out, Clayton said he could "yeah, maybe" see himself looking for love on the beaches in Mexico on a future Bachelor in Paradise season.

"It just depends on who would be going, because I'd have to see and do my own research, like, 'Is there anyone here I would actually have interest in going for?'" Clayton reasoned.

"Otherwise, if I didn't have any interest, what am I doing? I'm just going for the wrong reasons, and we all know how that shakes out."

Joe therefore asked if there are any bachelorettes from The Bachelor franchise he would be interested in seeing, if he ends up on the show.

"Should I [name her]? Bahh. You know, I feel a little dangerous. I am talking to this person, but we're not dating or anything yet. So we'll see where that heads, but you know what? From all the things I can see on social media and from what I saw on TV, I think [Jess Girod] was pretty cute," Clayton revealed.

"She's a pretty cute girl," he added. "There you go. If you want the click bait, she's somebody who I'm like, 'Hey, there could be some interest there.'"

But Clayton confirmed no women from Bachelor Nation had reached out to him or made a move.

"I don't know if there's a giant red flag waving above my head, but no one [is romantically interested]," Clayton said with a laugh, adding how his DMs "have been dry."
