The Bachelor alum Susie Evans has revealed that she recently went out on a first date and it was arguably the best first date she's ever had with a man.

Susie recently took to TikTok and posted a video of herself doing a makeup tutorial for her followers, trying to "recreate" her look -- considering she thinks she "killed it -- from the special date.

"I went on a first date the other day... This was my first official date since being out of a relationship literally last August or September," Susie said in the late April video, referring to her breakup with The Bachelor's Season 26 star Clayton Echard.

Susie confirmed it was "a brunch date," which she felt was "kind of intimidating" at first.

"The sun is out and you're like, 'Oh my god, you're literally going to be able to see everything on my face,'" Susie joked.

"The major key to daytime beautiful makeup is not doing too much but knowing what products will give you a glow without making your skin not skin anymore."

While putting on her makeup, Susie revealed she had styled her hair naturally for the date, with her curls thick and flowing.

"Because honestly, I used to only straighten or smooth my hair for dates -- because I was really self-conscious -- but I was like, 'Honestly, if you're going to date me, you should know,'" Susie said.

"It really felt, like, so low stakes with this first date, but it ended up being maybe, like, the best -- or one of the best -- first dates I've been on, ever."

The Virginia native admitted the only problem is that he doesn't live in Los Angeles, her current city.

"I also didn't [want to] go for that reason, because I was like, 'Okay, how serious are you?' But honestly, we hit it off," Susie explained.

Susie said, prior to meeting this new mystery man, she was running into guys who just wanted to "chat on the apps," which really bothered her.

"I don't have the patience to go back and forth a bunch of times. This guy literally matched with me and was like, 'Let's meet right now.' And I was like, 'Okay, crazy. No,'" the wedding videographer confessed.

"And then I was like, 'Okay, we can do brunch.' But it was kind of what I was waiting for the whole time, where I was like, 'I just want somebody to ask me out; I don't want to chit-chat on the app.' So I felt like I owed it to him."

Susie said she had been "literally asking God for this" -- for someone to just be direct and ask her out -- and this man "finally" made her wish come true.

"I knew the vibe was good immediately because when we sat down, we both made a really gross, inappropriate joke about possibly having gone to Taco Bell instead. The waitress didn't think it was funny, but we did," Susie shared.

Susie said she and her date began "doing weird accents" and it just "honestly got so weird" fast.

"I haven't felt like I could be myself that much with somebody that quickly in a long time," Susie gushed.

"[But] I kind of feel like dating is such a big commitment. It's a time commitment. I'm so busy that I just want my person to show up and be there and just be ready to start a life, but I know that's not how dating works."

Susie acknowledged how "all good things in life -- dating and relationships -- take effort" and she's been "a little bit lazy" recently.

Susie said ultimately, she knows she needs to put in effort and work to meet a great guy.

"I also think there's a really big part of me that's just skeptical about men. I feel like I don't believe any of them actually want relationships," Susie admitted.

"Then I imagine I sometimes probably give off the same vibe, where I'm just really ambitious in my career right now and meh. I get it though, these things take time and effort."

Susie shared how she also "wouldn't mind" meeting a man through a friend because then he's "pre-vetted."

Susie wrapped up her TikTok video by joking of her fantastic date, "Here's to hoping he doesn't have TikTok. He's not a big social-media guy, so I don't think so."

Last week, Susie posted another TikTok video with an update on the blossoming romance.

"The guy doesn't have TikTok, or maybe he does, I don't know. But his friend sent him the TikTok, so he has seen the TikTok and he'll probably see this one," Susie said with a laugh.

Susie revealed on the April 27 episode of the "Bachelor Rush Hour With Dave Neal" that she had joined the Hinge dating app. Before that, she tested out Raya and walked away feeling like most of the people on there were "clout chasers."

Susie said she had yet to experience a "walk of shame" since breaking up with Clayton and moving to Los Angeles.

Susie quit The Bachelor during her Fantasy Suite date with Clayton because he revealed he had slept with -- and also professed his love to -- both of his other Final 3 bachelorettes, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, earlier in the week.

Clayton went on to introduce Rachel and Gabby to his family, but then he determined he was the "most" in love with Susie, and so he dumped his other two bachelorettes simultaneously.

Clayton begged for another shot with Susie, but she returned for the Final Rose Ceremony only to break up with him under the assumption he wasn't her "person."

However, Susie and Clayton reunited after the show wrapped filming, and they were an item who announced their love to the world on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose in March 2022.

Internet trolls slammed Susie for giving Clayton another chance and allegedly having no respect for herself. Both Susie and Clayton faced so much backlash on social media -- including death threats to Clayton -- that it affected their mental health and even turned the pair against each other at times.

Susie finally announced the former couple's breakup in September 2022.

Susie said that she and Clayton had dated for months, without really being compatible, because the show never provided them with the tools to establish a deep emotional connection.

Susie said during a March episode of "The Viall Files" podcast that The Bachelor producers had influenced how she felt about Clayton during filming because he was presented to her in the most flattering light.

"I don't even know if I'm really supposed to say it, but there were things that were said or done throughout the process, where I was like, 'That was so thoughtful. That was such a thoughtful thing to have happen,'" Susie explained to Season 21 The Bachelor star Nick Viall.

"And then after the process is over, you find out that that was somebody else's idea. That was somebody who's been listening to me [in interviews] for months that was like, 'You should make this toast and talk about her character, and how you admire her as a human being.'"

Susie suggested that producers had emphasized how strong her connection was with Clayton by convincing her that the former medical sales representative and football player had a firm grasp of her core values and goals.

"[With] these things, I was like, 'How does he know me so well?' It's like, no, these are people in his ear... When we come out of there, I [was] like, 'Wait, you don't know anything about my character. You don't know anything about who I am,'" Susie said.
