The Bachelor bachelorette Olivia Caridi has dished on the season's first group date and how she was feeling about Ben Higgins that early on.

Describing Season 20's initial "Love Lab" group date as the "coolest day" of her life, Caridi explained to E! News what she and five other women experienced.

"We looked at photos and I guess our brain activity showed how much -- I think if 25% of our brain was thinking about Ben, that's a good sign. I was thinking more like 100%, but 25%, we'll take it," the blonde news reporter said.

"And then we went running for 10 minutes and we smelled each other. He smelled us, [and] later, we got blindfolded and smelled four men and one of them was Ben."

So what were the results? According to test-administrator "Doctor Love," they were pretty shocking.

"Everybody picked Ben as the best smelling. Doctor Love said it's never happened [before]. He smells amazing. He smells unreal," Caridi told E! News of Higgins, adding that her time on the show has been "wonderful" and "so fun" thus far.

"From the first night, we have a great connection. I was lucky to get the First Impression rose, so it was really cool. And then every moment -- at least today -- we're making eye contact and just laughing. This is a fun activity. It's not anything too serious and I think we're about to get some alone time with him to kind of measure our... heart activity."

Caridi also gushed about the qualities Higgins brings to the table.

"He's so passionate," she noted. "His heart and his insides are as amazing as his outer beauty. He cares about people. All of the things that are important to me are important to him -- our values, he's grounded -- all of the really important things."

Caridi couldn't help but also confess, "And obviously he's gorgeous." Likewise, Higgins recently told the website Caridi is the "hottest" bachelorette this season.

The group date will be featured on Monday night's January 12 episode of The Bachelor at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
