The Amazing Race's "Best Friends and Texans" Tanner Kloven and Josh Ahern were eliminated during Friday night's broadcast of the CBS reality competition's 27th season.

Tanner and Josh became the sixth team eliminated from the around-the-world competition after they arrived at the Race's ninth Pit Stop on the grounds of Moonlight Garden in Agra, India near the Taj Mahal in last place.

Tanner and Josh admitted "Engaged Couple and Amazing Race Super Fans" Justin Scheman and Diana Bishop were a better team than them in general, however, they started off the Race strong and therefore probably let their guards down too soon. Justin and Diana won this leg, making it their sixth victory of the season so far.

The Race broadcast began with Justin and Diana leaving the eighth Pit Stop in Krakow, Poland, in first place at 10:04PM.

Justin and Diana were then followed by "Dating Co-Workers and News Anchors" Kelsey Gerckens and Joey Buttitta at 12:58AM, "Mother and Son" Denise Williams and James Corley at 12:59AM; "Dating Paparazzi Business Partners" Logan Fazio and Chris Gordon at 1:50AM; "Former NFL Cheerleaders" Tiffany Chantell and Krista Debono at 2:02AM, and finally Tanner and Josh, whose departure time was not shown.

The teams were instructed to fly to New Delhi, India and then take a taxi to the railway station, where they must catch a 6AM train to Agra, home to the country's iconic Taj Mahal. Once in Agra, they had to make their way to the banks of the Yamuna river to find their next clue. A U-Turn was awaiting all the teams at some point in this leg.

Justin and Diana completely expected to get U-Turned if they didn't get to the board first. They finally had reason to worry though because all of the teams were booked on the same flight into India, meaning they were all on an equal playing field.

Justin joked with Denise and James as well as Kelsey and Joey about wanting "Team Dallas" gone. Justin noted if they got U-Turned, they'd definitely be eliminated since they also had a Speed Bump to complete.

However, Justin and Diana weren't sure if they wanted to U-Turn anyone as a way to not make unnecessary enemies in the Race. Chris and Logan suggested the "Green Team" U-Turn Tanner and Josh, and then the paparazzi pointed out Tiffany and Krista had previously U-Turned the "Green Team."

Justin and Diana were surprised to hear about Tiffany and Krista's move, but instead of talking about the situation behind their backs, the "Green Team" just confronted the "Cheerleaders" about the accusation. Tiffany and Krista denied having U-Turned Justin and Diana, saying Chris and Logan were just trying to stir up trouble. The girls then barked at the paparazzi for making things up.

Because of the dramatic turn of events, both Chris and Logan regretted bringing anything up to Justin and Diana. The team also started seeing Justin and Diana as very sneaky people.

After traveling almost 3,500 miles from Europe to India, the teams hopped into tuk-tuks to get around the busy streets.

Tiffany and Krista arrived at the Roadblock in first place. They were soon followed by Chris and Logan, Denise and James, Tanner and Josh, Kelsey and Joey, and Justin and Diana.

For the Roadblock, one member from each team had to choose a bicycle loaded with dirty laundry and wheel it to one of the marked wash tubs where they'd learn the process of washing laundry. After laying a long material out to dry, the participating Racers would receive their next clue.

Krista opted to take on the Roadblock task on behalf of her team. She was later joined by Denise, Joey, Tanner, Chris and Diana.

Tanner and Josh learned they both had to complete the laundry task in order to move on as their Speed Bump in the leg. The guys ended up being really frustrated and disappointed because the task was very long and tedious.

While doing his laundry, Tanner asked the teams out loud if anyone was going to U-Turn them. Everyone was silent at first, which spoke volumes to Tanner, but then both Diana and Chris chimed in that they wouldn't do that to them.

Once it became Josh's turn to do the Roadblock, Tanner and Tiffany talked on the sidelines about how Kelsey and Joey needed to U-Turn Josh and Diana or else no one stood a chance against them. Tanner said if the "Reporters" were smart at all, they'd do it. Josh complained the Speed Bump was incredibly long, but he tried to remain optimistic about staying in the Race.

Kelsey and Joey finished the Roadblock before any of the other teams. They were then followed by Chris and Logan, Justin and Diana, Tiffany and Krista, Denise and James, and Tanner and Josh.

The teams then learned they must make their way to Hanuman Temple in a bazaar and receive a blessing to earn their next clue.

Kelsey and Joey, happily maintaining their lead, received the blessing first. Logan and Chris were right on their heels followed by Justin and Diana, Tiffany and Krista, Denise and James, and eventually Tanner and Josh.

It then became time for the teams to attempt one of two possible Detour tasks: "Cans" or "Candy."

"Cans" required the teams to load a cargo bike with 120 large oil cans and then deliver them through the chaotic streets to an oil company.

"Candy" required the teams to cut and wash pumpkin of approximately 90 pounds and then deliver two finished batches of candy to a local store, where they'd be handed their next clue.

Justin and Diana beat Kelsey and Joey to the actual Detour location of "Cans," so they had a bit of a jump on the "Reporters." Kelsey and Joey were upset to find themselves in second place again.

While both Kelsey and Joey and Justin and Diana were working on "Cans," Logan and Chris opted to take on "Candy," as did Tiffany and Krista, Denise and James, and Tanner and Josh as well.

Justin and Diana, quick and efficient per usual, finished the Detour in first place. They were then followed by Kelsey and Joey, Logan and Chris, Denise and James, Tiffany and Krista, and Tanner and Josh.

The teams then proceeded to Bijlighar Chowraha Roundabout, where the U-Turn board awaited them -- ultimately forcing one team to perform both sides of the Detour.

Justin and Diana's tuk-tuk driver got a little lost, but he managed to find directions within a reasonable amount of time. The "Green Team" was desperate to get to the board first because they knew they were everyone's No. 1 target.

Surprise, surprise. Justin and Diana did make it to the U-Turn in first place, but they decided not to do it. Kelsey and Joey got there in second place and decided to U-Turn Tanner and Josh just to ensure their safety going forward. Chris and Logan arrived at the U-Turn board in third place followed by Denise and James, Tiffany and Krista, and finally Tanner and Josh.

Tanner and Josh were shocked their friends -- and former allies -- Kelsey and Joey had U-Turned them. The guys admitted if they go home, they're going to root for the "Green Team" to win now. Kelsey, however, seemed sad about making the move. Joey convinced her they did what they had to do to get ahead.

Tiffany and Krista were also really mad at Kelsey and Joey for U-Turning "Team Texas." The girls had become best friends with the guys and confessed they'd no longer trust the "Reporters."

The teams' next set of clues instructed them to travel to Moonlight Garden, where they must search the grounds for the Pit Stop. The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan hid himself in a corner of the garden.

Denise and James had trouble finding Phil on the grounds and got totally lost. It turned out they were searching in the wrong place the whole time. Denise and James thought it would be a miracle if they beat people.

Meanwhile, Tanner and Josh hoped something would go wrong for another team, but even if they got eliminated, they weren't mad about it because they knew they'd be finishing strong.

Justin and Diana stepped on the Pit Stop met and met Phil in first place. For winning the leg, they received a trip for two to Honolulu, HI. Justin was thrilled about having won six legs, but he admitted the only one that really matters is the final leg.

Kelsey and Joey arrived at the Pit Stop in second place followed by Chris and Logan in third. They were followed by Tiffany and Krista in fourth place and then Denise and James in fifth place. Tanner and Josh finally made it to the Pit Stop in sixth -- and last -- place, and Phil announced their elimination.
