The Amazing Race and Big Brother are reportedly joining forces, as The Amazing Race will feature an entire cast of former BB houseguests next season.

According to sources close to production, The Amazing Race has locked down its lineup of teams for the new season and they've all spent time in the Big Brother house, TMZ reported.

The Amazing Race will allegedly have an all-Big Brother edition, featuring at least one winner of the Big Brother franchise. Several other BB winners, although probably interested in racing around the world, declined the opportunity due to career or family reasons.

The production sources told TMZ that CBS is very happy with The Amazing Race teams they have found to compete.

While The Amazing Race has included several former Big Brother houseguests in prior seasons, the sources said producers got the ball rolling on the idea this year because of the success Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson had on the show last season.

Jessica and Cody, who met on Big Brother's nineteenth edition last summer and joined The Amazing Race as a dating couple, ending up winning the $1 million on Season 30. The lovebirds also got engaged after they filmed the show in February 2018.

Jessica and Cody, however, will probably not return for The Amazing Race's special Big Brother edition, TMZ reported.

The new season of The Amazing Race, hosted by Phil Keoghan, is slated to begin taping soon.

Other Big Brother couples who have competed on The Amazing Race include Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas as well as Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd.

The show's first-ever celebrity edition, Celebrity Big Brother, just wrapped in February and concluded with actress Marissa Jaret Winokur winning the grand prize over runner-up Ross Mathews, while Season 19 of Big Brother crowned Josh Martinez champion last summer.
