Shawn Booth wants to join forces with his former The Bachelorette rival Nick Viall.

Booth, 29, spoke directly to Viall in a video he uploaded to his YouTube channel on Sunday.

"What's up, Nick? I hope all is well," Booth said in the video. "Obviously, the past is in the past and we've both moved on."

Booth apparently wants to put their differences aside and "come together" for men's health, which he dubs "a very important cause." He asked Viall, 35, to join his team for Movember -- meaning he'd grow out a mustache for the month of November to raise awareness and donate money to fund projects and research related to men's issues like prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Booth revealed he's passionate about the cause because there is a history of prostate cancer in his family and it "could easily affect" one of them in the future.

Booth's decision to reach out to Viall may come as a surprise to most The Bachelorette fans because they pretty much hated each other while competing for Kaitlyn Bristowe -- whom Booth is now happily engaged to -- on the ABC reality show's eleventh season.

Viall and Booth couldn't stand to be in the same room together during The Bachelorette and tension only heightened after Bristowe, 30, admitted to Booth she had sex with Viall well before her round of fantasy suite dates. The men ended up finishing as the Final 2, but Booth won the girl and proposed.

Bristowe's decision left Viall a runner-up once more, as Andi Dorfman had rejected him in favor of her now ex-fiance Josh Murray on Season 10 of the show.

"I think that together we can have a huge impact and help change the face of men's health," Booth concluded in the video.
