The 31-year-old reality star praised kids Mason, Penelope and Reign in an interview with People on Saturday. Disick was once known for his hard-partying ways, but told the magazine being a father has transformed his behavior more than the tabloids let on.

"I've realized that money is not everything I used to think it was," he said. "Being at home is more important ... I try not to look into what people are saying about me anymore. A decent amount of the time it's probably not true, so I don't want to drive myself too crazy."

"We've been fortunate enough to have three amazing kids," he said of himself and his longtime girlfriend. "They don't really make our lives any harder, they make it easier, because you kind of realize what life's about. We're pretty fortunate for that and I thank God for that."

Disick and Kardashian have been together since 2006, and welcomed son Mason in 2009. Daughter Penelope followed in 2012, and son Reign was born in 2014.

The couple will return to star on a 10th season of E! reality series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" on March 15.
