A report that Sarah Ferguson was being recruited for Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew was apparently premature.

"As far as we know, there has been no approach. She absolutely would not do that," the Dutchess of York's spokeswoman told London's Evening Standard newspaper in a Wednesday report.

Ferguson was responding to a Tuesday RadarOnline report that claimed Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew was attempting to land her for its upcoming fourth season in an effort to add some star power to the show's cast.

Ferguson is currently at the center of an international scandal after she was recently caught on camera trying to sell access to ex-husband Prince Andrew for $734,000.

She subsequently stated on The Oprah Winfrey Show that she had "been drinking" when she made the offer.

"Obviously she's got a long battle ahead of her, but that doesn't mean she'll be hopping on every celebrity show," the spokeswoman told the Evening Standard.

Filming for Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew's fourth season was originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday, however that plan was reportedly scrapped because producers are having a hard time completing the celebrity cast.

Former A Shot at Love star Tila Tequila had committed to be a Celebrity Rehab cast member early last week, while former Laguna Beach star Jason Wahler was also reportedly "very close" to an agreement to appear on it.

In addition, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper Bizzy Bone -- whose real name is Byron McCane -- expressed interest in participating in Celebrity Rehab to receive treatment for marijuana and alcohol addiction.

Liza Minnelli was also reportedly involved in negotiations to appear on the VH1 reality series, however her representative subsequently denied her potential participation.
