Possible song choice for a duet between American Idol finalists Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard: Irving Berlin's "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better".

American Idol 2 winner Ruben Studdard, whose album Soulful debuted this week at #1, will guest star as himself and also perform on an upcoming episode of UPN's TV series One on One.

When Flex (Flex Alexander) and his neighbor, Duane (Kelly Perine), both vie to become president of their condo board, a desperate Duane pulls some strings and convinces Ruben Studdard to come sing one of his hit songs in order to sway the votes. The episode will air during February sweeps.

One on One, currently in its third season, is broadcast Tuesdays (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on UPN. The show follows Flex Washington, a local sportscaster and ladies man, as he takes on the challenge of raising his spirited teen-aged daughter, Breanna (Kyla Pratt), while also dealing with the wild antics of his childhood friend and neighbor, Duane.

Ruben's role on One on One is thus similar to Clay's upcoming role on NBC's Ed: both play themselves on the show. To us, this seems like a way to make an acting debut more likely to succeed than starring in a Hollywood movie for your first major role.
