Rob Kardashian's family is reportedly warming up to the idea of him dating Blac Chyna, especially matriarch Kris Jenner.

"The whole family sees that it's her who brought Rob back," a family insider told Us Weekly of Chyna. "Kris is so grateful to Blac Chyna for rehabilitating her son."

Rob spent about two years in hiding because of dramatic weight gain, depression and a recent diabetes diagnosis. He refused to be filmed for Keeping Up with the Kardashians and even declined to participate in major family events, such as his sister Kim Kardashian's wedding when Kanye West entered the family.

But according to an Us source, Chyna's influence on Rob since they went public with their romance in January has inspired him to exercise, eat healthier and become more social. The source said Rob has lost a total of 65 pounds.

The couple recently celebrated Rob's 29th birthday and St. Patrick's Day together, and Rob has also reportedly spent a lot of time with Chyna's three-year-old son, King Cairo.

"They have fun all day long," a friend of Rob's said, referencing a March 16 visit to Legoland near San Diego in particular.

And several days before that, Rob even took photos with fans at the BritJam music festival in Montego Bay, Jamaica. DJ Crazy Neil told the magazine, "I dragged him out and made him dance!"

Rob's friend explained that Chyna's investment in the relationship has made a new man out of Rob.

"[He] went forever without any girl being interested in him," the pal told Us of the sock designer, who split from his last girlfriend Rita Ora in 2012. "His confidence was shattered for so long, so to have this banging girl all over him has given him a new lease on life."

While the Kardashians and Jenners are reportedly coming around to the idea of Rob's new romance, they're still not ready to fully embrace Chyna.

Reports swirled a couple of months ago that Rob's family accused Chyna of preying on him when he was most vulnerable and dating him to get revenge on Kylie Jenner, who's current boyfriend is Tyga, the father of Chyna's child.

"There's no ill will toward her," the family insider claimed, "but yes, they're cautious because of the Kylie and Tyga situation."
