The co-star of MTV's Rob & Big reality show is expecting a daughter due in mid-February, People reported Wednesday.

"I'm just going, 'Hey, I know it's going to be a girl, so I can prepare myself for that,'" Boykin told People during an on October 7 appearance at Tony Hawk's Proving Ground Stand Up for Skateparks fundraiser in Beverly Hills. "Other than that, it's a great feeling."

The 35-year-old 6 foot 6 inch, 375-pound personal bodyguard for professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek said he wants to name his daughter after the Egyptian queen Isis, adding he plans to approach fatherhood similar to how he acquired his knowledge on skateboarding.

"I would just say you have to learn on the fly," he told People. "You pick up all the good things, and everything else you learn on the fly."

In addition, Boykin said he's learned skateboarding can be a valuable tool in keeping close with younger generations.

"You've got to keep in tune with what these kids are into, so I can make sure I'm on top of my daughter," he told People.

No word yet on how the arrival of Boykin's daughter will affect his relationship with Meaty, the bulldog he owns with Dyrdek.
