Rebekah "Bekah" Martinez is one of The Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s bachelorettes to pay attention to this season, according to show host Chris Harrison.

Bekah is a 22-year-old nanny from Fresno, CA, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. She will be competing for Arie's heart when Season 22 premieres Monday, January 1 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

"She's a starlet," Chris told People of the brunette beauty.

When Bekah is first introduced to the 36-year-old pro racing driver turned real estate agent, Chris revealed, "There is something about this girl's energy that blows Arie away and he is captivated by her."

Whether it's Bekah's personality or presence, fans can expect big things from her. And based on Chris' description of the bachelorette, she'll likely advance pass the first Rose Ceremony of the season during which Arie must eliminate eight women from the running for his heart.

"They have this chemistry that gets under his skin," Chris noted of the pair.

Bekah will automatically stand out because of her adorable pixie haircut, and based on previews for the season, the artsy rock-climber and free spirit may rub her competition the wrong way.

Bekah will be just one of 29 beautiful and accomplished bachelorettes Arie is afforded the chance to meet and get to know on The Bachelor.

"The women blew Arie away on night one," Chris shared with People of Arie's impressive roster of ladies.

"And Arie is a little older and confident. He doesn't mind not always acting cool or having to say and do the right things. He gets these women and it makes them fall very fast for him!"

ABC has disclosed The Bachelor will be "filled with passionate highs and heartwrenching lows" next year, and Arie told Reality TV World earlier this month that he did, in fact, find love -- with two women!
