Rachel Lindsay claims she never thought former The Bachelor star Nick Viall was going to choose her during his season.

"Men are painfully obvious as to who [they] like from the beginning," Rachel, 33, told Nick on the Tuesday episode of his "The Viall Files" podcast.

"We always knew who you were going to pick. We knew it. I would tell producers. I would say, 'I don't even know why I'm here because I know what he's going to do.'"

Rachel, 33, and Nick, 38, discussed their time on Season 21 of The Bachelor, which aired in early 2017.

Rachel finished the season in third place behind Nick's runner-up, Raven Gates, and his winner, Vanessa Grimaldi, whom he proposed marriage to in the finale.

Rachel even recalled a moment when she was sitting with fellow bachelorette Astrid Loch and the girls stumbled across an "arts and crafts" book Vanessa's adult students with special needs had compiled to share with Nick, according to Us Weekly.

"Astrid and I were flipping through it and I go, 'This b-tch is going to win.' That was the second week," Rachel admitted.

Rachel, however, assured Nick that he never "led [her] on" and she was fully prepared for her elimination in Week 9 of the competition.

Rachel said she actually told The Bachelor crew ahead of the Rose Ceremony in which she was sent packing, "It's been real fun. This is it for me tonight," according to Us.

"I remember. I was like, 'It's not me,'" Rachel shared with Nick on his podcast.

But Nick reportedly made it clear the feelings he had for Rachel and Raven were genuine and he "had a real connection" with them both.

"I really liked a lot of things about you guys and there [were] a lot of attributes that both of you had," Nick told the Texas-based lawyer. "[I thought], 'I would really like this in my relationship.'"

Nick and Vanessa dated for about five months after his marriage proposal aired on ABC, and they announced their decision to split and part ways in August 2017.

While Nick and Vanessa's relationship was falling apart in the real world, Rachel's season of The Bachelorette was being televised.

Rachel's Season 13 finale of The Bachelorette aired in August 2017 and featured her engagement to Bryan Abasolo, whom she intends to marry this summer in a romantic and intimate destination wedding.

Colton Underwood's The Bachelor season is currently airing on ABC, and Rachel apparently believes Colton has been painfully obvious about his choice as well.

"As I'm watching Colton's season, I feel the girl he is going to pick is [Cassie Randolph]. I assume Cassie," Rachel told Nick on his podcast.
