"Our station has been called to respond to Paula Abdul's house on multiple occasions over the last several years concerning Ms. Goodspeed," LAPD Capt. James Miller told People magazine in a Wednesday report. "The last time our officers had contact with Goodspeed was in July."

Miller added that no restraining order had ever been filed against Goodspeed, but did not know if, or how much, she had ever interfered with Abdul's life.

"I can't say whether Ms. Abdul was directly harassed," Miller told People. "Ms. Goodspeed had been causing enough of a disturbance [to have police called]."

However, according to a source speaking to E! News in a Wednesday report, Goodspeed had tried to commit suicide in front of Abdul's house house "two or three months ago" by overdosing on pills as well.

E! News also reported that Abdul had been in Los Angeles at the Kodak Theatre taping segments for American Idol's eigth-season Hollywood Week shows when she learned of Goodspeed's death.

Goodspeed's Myspace page, which was last updated on April 29, 2007, lalso appeared to add another layer to her obsession witth Abdul. According to E! News, Goodman had posted a photo of Abdul licking her lips along with the caption: "My secret crush, shhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!"

She also included entries written about her now infamous appearance at American Idol's fifth-season auditions.

"It's very hard reading such awful things being written about yourself...or hearing things being said...not like a lot of people would understand what it's like having so many haters, just because I made the mistake of trying out for a singing competition before I was even ready vocally, emotionally and physically," her page said, according to E! News.

"I have to believe there is something good about me," her page continues.
