Nick Carter appeared to have cleaned up his act, but now he's fallen off the wagon again.

The Dancing with the Stars Season 21 runner-up was arrested for misdemeanor battery Wednesday night in Florida after an alleged drunken scene outside of a bar.

Carter, 35, choked a bouncer outside of Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West during a brawl he and his drunk buddy got into with staff, TMZ reported.

Carter and his friend Michael Papayans were allegedly both wasted when they entered the bar before 7PM, according to the police report, and when they were refused alcohol from the bartender, they got angry and staff kicked them out -- prompting the fight outside.

Not only did Carter allegedly grab the bouncer by his throat, Papayans headbutted the bar manager and one of the two guys "sucker punched" an employee. When authorities arrived, Carter and Papayans were restrained by staff and Papayans had blood all over his face, hands and knees.

TMZ reported, however, the guys insisted they were beat down unfairly by the staff at Hog's Breath Saloon and "tackled like f-cking Navy SEALS or something," according to Carter.

Carter remains in custody.
