NBC had said that it was considering broadcasting another episode of Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on network TV, and so it will -- with some help from a special guest.

Reuters reports that NBC will team up the "Fab Five" from Queer Eye with Tonight show host Jay Leno on August 14. During prime-time that day, another special half-hour condensed edition of Queer Eye will be aired on NBC. Then, during late night, the "Fab Five" will appear as guests on the Tonight Show, conducting what the network bills as a "make-better" session with Leno.

Apparently NBC is sensitive to the thought that Leno, who continues to be locked in a ratings battle with CBS's David Letterman, might require a "makeover." Perhaps the Fab Five could make over NBC's fall schedule instead.
